Spikerock does more damage than Spikeweed, and can take three hits from rolling zombies instead of just one.
The entry in the game's Almanac shows that Spikerock does more damage. Spikeweed is listed as doing "Normal" damage, while Spikerock does "Moderate" damage, with a higher damage bar.
Why don't you apply the rules equally to everybody? Appletini throws comments around same as everybody else yet her posts are never deleted? Anyways, I'm done with this forum.
The moderators do apply the rules equally, and I have had posts deleted when they breached forum etiquette.
I said the game would be better served if the 3-star quests were separate, non-mandatory sidequests. The regular levels have the monotony broken up with the addition of new zombies and the occasional mini-game. You're right in that tower defense games are repetitive by nature. As such, I'd like to get through as much original material as possible before I get burned out. A new setting and batch of zombies would be just the trick, but instead of letting me do that, I have to revisit levels with restrictions that stopped being interesting in Egypt. It would be much better if I could go through the regular stages, along with the branched-out paths, and then have the option of doing the 3-star quests at my leisure. It's simply a case of forcing too much of the same thing with not enough variation.
Where's my garlic??? The finest plant from PvZ! Does anybody know? EA did a decent job with the freemium model here, but it's generally irritating and I'd never give them $3.99 for a Snow Pea or a Seed Slot. Who would? They are only the 20th top grossing app at the moment, which I'd imagine is viewed as a disappointment. The addition of plant food is cool, the addition of the other power-ups is lame and contrary to "true" TD (that said, a player can obviously choose not to use those - and indeed I do choose not to - so I suppose it doesn't really matter much). My biggest gripe is that compared to PvZ (which is easily my favorite iOS game, ever), PvZ2 is *super* boring! I can't even really express why I find it soul-crushingly dull, but I do. I hope they have some major update that makes the game fun...I WANT to like it!
Well considering that it has an average rating of 4.5 stars after over 70,000 reviews it seems that a lot of people don't feel the same way.
Maybe you just played out the original PvZ and are bored with the genre. I find PvZ2 less engaging since I already pretty much know how to play super efficiently. For me the fun was in learning how to do that the first time. Still enjoying myself, and appreciate the content. But I only play a level or two a day, it's not a "can't put down" experience for me anymore.
Pretty awesome like the first one and as much fun. The story is really funny and the game can be played without IAP (at least to where i have reached, "Pyramids of Doom"). New gameplay elements were added but i think they serve willing to buy IAP users. Totally recommended game.
Although you'd be hard pressed to say that the IAP in this game does not provide any advantage (after all, who can't make use of an additional +25 sun at the beginning, and, heck, I guess the "rich" and foolish could just lightning bolt every possible level to death at 1000 coins a zap), I still think you would be equally hard pressed to explain just how a new gameplay element was designed for encouraging IAP. As an example: I am now only 2 stars away from completing the entirety of the launch content. The 2nd missing star because is behind the current buggerer of my sanity: the "Not OK Corral II". For whatever reason, I screw up what is seemingly a pretty straight forward "puzzle" level *every* time, right at the very end, and it's a level that takes several, slow minutes. I've replayed this level so many times I am sick of it. I would gladly just pinch the damn heads off of every zombie with my more than 100K coins to move on... except I can't: There is not one single IAP element allowed on these final stumpers for my dumb arse, a guy who has otherwise conquered the entirety of the game.
How many stars to get to the boss? When I reached the gate in wild west it showed the boss world and said a number but now there is no number on the stargate.
Hey guys, any tip with 'Not OK Corral III (Wild West)'? My problem is that I tried it 5 times and I am getting a second wall-nut instead of the Cannon (based on the youtube videos that I saw). Any ideas? Thanks!
I gotta say I never played the first one and dont see myself sticking with this one as I am already bored of it.
I think I've pinpointed the thing that makes this game boring to me... There aren't enough rounds in each level. In the original, you could get 3 or 4 rounds per level. But in this, the maximum is 2, so just as you're getting into the swing of things and have an established army, the game ends! And even worse is when you have to focus on completing certain missions, too, so you barely get the chance to sit back and enjoy the onslaught of zombies.
I think the later levels or the challenges are longer. I don't think it's only 2 rounds. I definitely could tell a length difference with the earlier stages and the later stages. What area are you in?
