Cool game, though for some reason, I still prefer the first though this one has much better graphics. Well worth a look.
Yes, you can. You'll get enough if you just keep working your way through the levels, though, so you shouldn't have to replay stages you've already finished unless you want to.
Blurry graphics I installed this game on my iPad 4. The graphics are not Retina, they look horrible. I played a few levels but there is no update message. Hours have passed and no update. How to manually trigger the Retina update?
If you were connected to the net, you should have seen an update message and "unrolling turf" progress bar pop up the first time you started the game, and the high-res art would have been downloaded at that time. Try shutting the game down entirely and restarting it, making sure you're online.
PvZ2 offers significantly more in the way of gameplay challenges, although it is missing a couple of modes from the original, such as the night levels. There are additional worlds in production, however, so we may see some of those elements make a return in the future. On the whole I much prefer the range of choices available in this game: my usual setup is actually a melee-based defense, which is a new and welcome option.[/QUOTE] Am disappointed that they couldnt do retina for ipod 4G but am glad to have opportunity to play it at least.. Have only gone 5 levels into it so far- is this game also missing the puzzle games from the first game? (the ones you unlock using coins from the main menu) And what do you spend the coins you earn on? other than the food for plants..? thx
There are new minigames as you progress, but because of the way PvZ2 is designed, they're not kept in a separate menu like the first game. The coins can only be spent on the plant food and single-use zombie-killing powerups, nothing else.
I'm pretty sure the mini games you are talking about were only added later on. PVZ1 didn't have those when first released. So, there's a possibility that more mini games will be added to PVZ2. There will be updates made to this game, so I'm sure we'll see plenty more content down the road. And I have to say, I'm really enjoying this. Couldn't care less about the IAP. And maybe it's just been a while, but I like this better than the first. I'm only disappointed that they locked some plants behind a paywall, because before release they'd said all content could be unlocked through normal play. But, whatever, the game is still a blast.
So I deleted the the Australian soft release version and downloaded the US version. My game progress from the soft release was intact after the in game downloads # I've bought SnowPea, Torchwood and Squash as a thanks to PopCap for a cool game
Just so I'm clear, you deleted the Australian version, and when you downloaded the US version, your save data was still all there? I was a little confused when the AppStore (US) showed me the update for PvZ 2. I didn't think the US AppStore would recognize the Aussie version of the game so I was hoping to just upgrade and be done with it.
Hey Jibba Yup, exactly like that. Aus version was completely deleted then I downloaded the US version. My game progress was intact
Odd. I did exactly the same as you. However, I had no save data intact. I had to start over. Oh well. I don't really care. It'll be fun to play through again.
That's not exactly accurate. The game is fun, well made, funny and a wonderful sequel. Call it freemium if you want, the shoe mostly fits, but it is not trash. You want freemium trash? Try a Mobage game.
Can someone tell me how I can sync my game across devices? And how do I delete the oz version and replace with my country version and still keep my progress I am almost finishing
You need to play the same level like 4 times to get "stars" so you can progress or you can pay $4.99. I really don't like that.
