Day 4 not unlocked Ok, I've solved day 3 of Egypt, and here's what happens on my phone... Basically, I got the new plant, but day 4 didn't get unlocked. I'm just wondering if this is a bug. Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
I've gotten two keys randomly (in the same level) during play, but yeah, that doesn't look fun to me. I dislike needing to unlock levels.
I'm just wondering. All of you saying the iap is not neccessary have you really played the game? Just asking do not mean to be offensive
Really worried about the IAP. Would rather pay $6 upfront that have to buy game in tiny bits and pieces.
Yes, just read some of the past pages in this thread. Many of us have played it with no need to pay out whatsoever.
I've played and completed the entire game without needing to buy a single thing with real money, if that reassures you.
With the worldwide release of the game, I am seeing again lots of question about IAP and if IAP is need to complete the game, especially with 3-stars. Here is what I wrote previously with the AU/NZ soft release of the game. The current release should follow the same. Perhaps these tips will help those who are thinking that there is a paywall (which there is not, at least for now).
Bayle, I read you're from Italy like me. I think the problem is in the iPhone's the regional settings. If the iPhone's language is set to Italian, the game will refuse to get past Egypt, day 3. The workaround, until they release a patch, is: set your iPhone language to English, then delete your saved game and start a new one. This worked for me, and now I'm at day 4. Just starting a new savegame isn't enough, I did try. Language must be English. I guess the Italian localization wasn't tested enough...
The same is happening in Portuguese in my son's iPad. The game freezes after each level and now the same Egypt level is still locked. A lesson to be learned: soft release a game in a non-English country too!
So I just downloaded it, and I haven't had a chance to play yet. How does it compare to Plants vs Zombies 1? Has it improved on the original. Also does this game have retina like the first? Thanks for the info.
