Wow the gem rewards did get trashed. Before it was a 35-50 gem quest every 16 hours. Now Ive got 2 x 8 gem quests, but they seem to reset every 3 hours
If theyre going to make quests appear much quicker, but worth less, then they need to reward us when the opponent concedes as you dont get credit for the quest when they concede. Theres an epidemic of conceding going on. Plenty of people concede before the first turn. I can only assume bad net code, or more likely they are grinding out common cards. The real frustration comes when youve played half a game, are a shoe in for the win, and they concede. It can take 10 games to get the 2 wins needed for the quest.
When you install the game after previously deleting it, it recognises that you have an account (I am guessing this one is synced to Game Center) but then every time you want to sign into EA it asks you to verify your email address?? A bit weird.
Great game! Been playing off and on since the soft launch began. It's like a Hearthstone-esque game that doesn't need Internet connection. Rates for legendary cards are pretty bad but that's to be expected. If you want to buy packs, just save up for the stuff with guaranteed items / biggest bonuses. Don't bother with the cheaper stuff. Edit: Hmm after the update it's making me play through the tutorial again. This isn't good..
Okay so if anyone wants any help or pointers I'm here for you. I'm by no means a pro but I understand most of the game and how the best units work. This game is wonderful but be prepared to get really angry. The single player mode is a blast when rng isn't a factor. You'll notice if you play a lot that in AI battles, rng will most often favor the AI. You'll notice this with the random shield / free power up mechanic. Which i honestly think should be removed or changed into a one time thing. Enjoy the best PvZ since the original! (Imo)
Yup, even though it found my save when I started the game, My progress still got wiped. Oh well, one less money sink...delete.
I deleted the game and reinstalled it, then it was able to find my save using my account (I used Facebook). Not sure if it's cloud based as well but I only linked to Facebook because I wanted to be sure.
Interesting. I hadn't signed into anything yet but it saw my profile when I first started it, then ran me through the tutorial anyway. Perhaps it's because I upgraded my phone in between playing the soft launch and installing the US version. The save lists that I've collected hundreds of cards, but I'm back to square one when actually playing.
That's disappointing considering the update notes said better match making I believe. In any case, in general I don't like competitive multiplayer (though I know that's probably the biggest component of this game). I've been sticking to single player and have only played online a handful of times for gem rewards.
