That would be fun! There could even be a whole underground garden? Like farming mushrooms for example!
Yes mushrooms might be much easier to do instead of a new plants since they can look pretty exotic and different! Could have bats instead of the magpies that comes to steal them Btw, Plantera was featured on the itunes frontpage in China and Canada in the "New Games We Love" section, which I am very happy about!
Yes! I think an underground cave where you grow mushrooms would be awesome! The helpers could go around with headlights-lamps on their head also Congrats on the feature!
Thanks Haha yes that would be sweet, I was even thinking of a version in space, that would make things easier since I could just come up with random fantasy plants
Yes! And there could be aliens that come to the garden instead of the foxes and bunnies! (Also space pig!)
Haha yes, I have been thinking of having a alien/ufo in the general garden also that will kidnapp the cows. Right now it is only the hens and sheep that have a natural "enemy"
Not sure how family friendly that would be haha Now Plantera have been featured on the frontpage in the US itunes store also!
I saw that! Congrats! As for the butcher, maybe it can be a big red Helper that does not look too scary? Another thing I would really want to see in the game is some sort of progress report on the achievements etc. Like how many magpies you have to scare away and your progress on it, or have I been missing something and it is possible to see somewhere?
The stats was something I would have liked to include but had to cut at the last minute, it is possible I could add it as an update though
Also a way to upgrade individual plant types would be awesome! Like you could upgrade the carrot to giant carrots!
Yes this was something I had wanted to implement also !, but I am a bit unsure on how to do it visually, if I made the plants bigger and bigger they would also take up more space so not completely sure how to do that..
How about the plots also get fewer and fewer? That way it would not increase the plot size? Like with carrot first you have 4 small carrots, if you upgrade to level 2 you get 2 big carrots in the plot, and at level 3 you get one huge carrot Also this would make harvesting faster so that would be an additional bonus to upgrading!
Sorry for the late reply! It would be nice just visually to make it feel more dynamic in a way. But I think there could be gameplay mechanics to it also! Like for example more dangerous animals at night, or even rare plants that only grow at night?
As always very interesting ideas! One thing that would make a lot of sense at night is to have very rare valuable fireflies to hunt for
