Would this be good on an iPhone 7+? Or should I use a tablet if possible? I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't want to sift through 13 pages of this thread to find it. Call me lazy!
I think it should be pretty playable on iphone plus, but the optimal way to go would be a tablet. Jared even stated that on his article and said he was going on the phone anyway.
Playing on 7+. Its a little hard to click corners but all the UO stuff can be minimized using quickbutton
I've never played Planescape, Baldur's Gate or really any classic WRPGs. How is the gameplay, especially on an iPad?
Give it a try and found too tiny on iphone 7 plus. Gonna hold it until I get a new Ipad (don't know when).
Why is there this misinformation that the game is mostly dialogue and you only need to fight a handful of times? Everywhere I go I aggro mobs and get randomly attacked. In an early dungeon after the city I can't even go anywhere cuz I get swarmed by bat/gargoyle things or rats. The combat is as clunky as it gets, but that's par for these games. Dunno, just not my cuppa tea I guess.
Are you sure you aren't thinking of reports concerning lack of combat for Torment Tides of Numenera as aposed to Planscape? Because that is almost the chief complaint about Numenera and not usually about Planscape.
Thanks for this...been on the fence since it came out bc im a HUGE bg, iwd, nwn fan. I only have a 7+ to play this on so maybe i'll purchase this for pc. Just sounded really nice to have in my pocket haha.
Tried it again. On second thought it is not nearly as bad when zoomed, unless you have large fingers and have trouble clicking the icons. DO NOT USE ZOOM LOCK for iphone as someone suggested here or it is going to be really tiny. If you do that, then you are in for some trouble.
Lock the zoom level on the standard, which is way too tiny for a phone. You can't zoom in or out. Zooming makes thing much better on iphone.
This game has more conversations and dialogues then all the games in 2017 combined #####. The game should be played on iPad min to truly experience the real deal.
I see there is no video published here here is one. i agreee the game should be for ipad bigger screen too mouch dialogs for iphone device
The fact is, when TNO & Friends (tm) "casually" walk down the alleys of the city Sigil, there is a very good chance that some thugs randomly, without being provoked, get bored with their lives and attack your party. This still happens when TNO "reaches his full glory". BTW, just dug 18+ hours during Easter holidays and suddenly deicde I want to roll back from the beginning, here I go again.
U are really a hard core gamer!! Even with xcom I can see the sheer determination to get everything perfect #
No no no no, I am a slow gamer instead. I was stuck in Death Nation and then found out that 2-member party was making life harder than it should be, so I rolled back...
I've only played eight hours or so over the last three days on my iPad but I'm finding this experience more enjoyable than when I first played it on PC many years ago. Just so engrossed with the storyline. Biggest help for me has been to click the magnifying glass at the bottom right so that all doors/chests etc shows up as an outline. I'm playing a high INT & WIS nameless one, avoiding combat where possible. Seems to be working as I make my way through Sigils mean streets.
