Only in english, sorry, I pass. Heavily relying on text like this game does, this is a deal breaker (I am german)
As someone who just started reading The Witcher novels, got hooked, and is waiting for Amazon to deliver The Witcher 3 (I've never played the series)... now I'm really tempted to get Planescape. I've played BG, BG2, NWN, etc, but never finished them back in the day (or with the BG/BG2:EE's I have on iPad). May have to toss this one on the "gaming while watching TV" pile.
This is not really a game that you want to have anything distracting you from immersing yourself into the storytelling.
If its like BG and ID you can send yourself your savegame through email in game or send it to a dropbox, its just a matter of managing it from there after. Makes it quite a hassle to juggle between two devices though
This looks GREAT, totally missed it and I've been reading about the new one coming out. Gonna probably get this one, but I do have a finishing games on my mini problem. I buy them and get distracted. Anyhoo, gotta do it. (Toss up between YOMI, and this, yomi looks so nice and perfect for touch, just older)
Sorry late answer Back then when people asked "Is game an art form?" Other took this as an supporting example. Somebody noted all the dialogues in the game and made a novel out of it. How many games could do that? In short, great story, great atmosphere, great character interactions. Game mechanics is great of its time that BG2 takes some of them.
I think everything is in text form, so you don't have to listen to dialogue. I could be wrong. That's just what I've seen from screenshots.
The main characters are voiced by some great/famous celebrities: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0187405/ It is part of the experience. Not to mention the soundtrack itself is also great.
Anyone playing on 12.9 ipad pro Is it a blurry mess or it's fine? Sometime games are not optimized for the ipad pro and that sucks... Anyone?before i press the buy button
I would play with sound on if you get a chance. The game has some great voice acting and the sound design is wonderful (thinking about the city). But yeah you could play without audio
I will check out the audio for sure, but 90% of my phone time is mute, so knowing that no audio is a viable option is key for me. Thanks!
I tried it on 6S, controls are useable, barely (same vien as other EE), but the text are too small to me. I think I would prefer a bigger screen for this. Sound is part of the game experience, but yeah, you can mute it to play. If you think BG2 is a masterpiece (which I some what agree), prepared to be blown away! Even though BG2 was released after this game. "What change the nature of a man?" BTW, you will think the movie Memento (by Christopher Nolan) has elements of this game Not to mention the story of KotoR2 is heavily influence by this game also.
