There is a red banner event that you might (or might not) get immediately after evolving reanimation. It says something like "The disease might be a miracle" and the descrption mentions how its regenerative abilities could be the cure for health problems.

Perhaps there is a way to tap into the world's gullibility and force them to "love" the virus, like we did with neurax worm.

    Edit

Ignore the above. The banner only pops after reanimation so it makes absolutely no sense...

    Hahahaha!

    @ Dev

I was invoking the secret magic art of fiddling with the innermost parts of Plague Inc in an attempt to find information regarding NAZG, when suddenly, I was called a "sniffer".

    LOL! :p

PS. Please post picture of pet!

Haha, found nothing related to NAZG yet, but I did find this: "People with %s are salivating so much that the iCure touchscreen breaks".

Ah, so that replaces the sweating. Good to know!

I'm still stumped on NAZG as well. Even tried naming my plague things that may have some trigger but nothing so far.

I found a lot of interesting interactions but none of them seem to have anything to do with NAZG. However, most of them explain the yellow banners.

The bottom line is that yellow banners are part of minor events that change things like infectivity, research speed (yes, the cure still rushes like mad) and transmission patterns but primarily they seem to affect infectivity.

Also, I found a couple of interesting events that I've never encountered in the actual game. Not sure if they are part of NAZG or events that were scrapped and were never used (quoted below):

Found something that may be related? :p
    "Cure effort pause"
    "Cure effort reduced"
    "Cure not being researched"

Found these, and the iCure stopped by salivating, in the translation files. :p
Doesn't tell us what's needed, but probably means there's a way to make everyone stop researching. :D

Well I got this while only evolving the 3 symptoms and 1 transmission listed above, but I think it's just a standard message, it didn't slow down cure much, if at all.

If it's replicable, then we are onto something.

Ahh, yeah. I found those too.

    "Sleeping pills subsidised" - Insomnia
    "'Safe Cannibalism' legalised" - Cannibalism
"Kissing ban implemented" - Hyper Salivation
"Sewage Stations monitored" - Gastrointestinal Expansion

All of them have the condition "condition_zday_done:-1".
Some other events with that condition are "Water supplies shut down", "All public buildings closed", All hospitals closed".

They also have the condition that you have evolved their respective symptoms, and a random chance.

The ones for Insomnia, Cannibalism and Hyper Salivation have "condition_random:0.0005" and the one for Gastrointestinal Expansion has "condition_random:0.01". I see most events having 0.01 or 0.02, so they're probably quite rare events?

I've seen the one about sewage stations, it was for a single country.

Anyone care to share how to do this magic art of sniffing?

Yeah, it's just a standard message, I remember getting that lots of times using the other plague types. Just one of those random events, like those that make the cure go faster if you have a certain symptom evolved. Although, it's possible that there's a way to purposely trigger a "random event" while using the Necroa virus?

Download the app from your device to your desktop with itunes. Then open the downloaded package with winrar. Extract it somewhere and open it up!

Mmm, looking around in the game files? You need to jailbreak your device (or be using Android) to be able to do that though.

    0.01 translates into 1%.

That means that trying to encounter one of the symptom ones is probably a waste of time.
