Are you upgrading symptoms to get to zombies? After you get that first zombie level stop evolving and just wait. That's the longest waiting part.
To. Sgt-Stiglitz For a much better guide see final posting on page 128. Then red banner messages about wild dogs and military are independent of evolving bat 1 and bird 1. Once you have both messages and bat 1 and bird 1, then collect DNA and go zombie to cause the next pop up in the sequence. See page 128 for details and pictures. My initial posting was somewhat lacking in detail, sorry, hence the more detailed posting.

The event poped up when Ukraine had 100k zombies left (no healthy, no infected) and continued normally until everyone was dead and not only that but also long after there were no zombies left anymore. Dafuq?!? Also, Delirium is not required. Just Psychosis. (I evolved the traits on the right trying to get the freaking Bath Time -which ofc I did not get anyway-). Not a single Zombie trait was used apart from Cytopathic Reanimation itself. No Bird 2 or Bat 2. Just Air 3.
I got all the Darkwater ones done except the Non Starter....That one is giving me some trouble...also having have Getting Colder...but can't seem to get the other Giza ones...and got Test This! for Chernobyl but again missing something on the others...any advice on them?
Yes, there must be a missing trigger. There are two straight forward tactics and neither work (kill as you go & hide and kill). If you kill as you go, you will never manage kill enough people. If you hide and kill, you will kill 1-2 billion(s) and the lose immediately. The thing is that there is not enough lethality to be aquired prior to Cytopathic Reanimation to win the killing vs research race no matter what. PS. I tried getting all the research related traits (gene, symptoms, abilities) and nothing works. Also, if you evolve the symptom prior to cytopathic reanimation, you are susceptible to getting screwed by a random mutation because cytopathic reanimation can't be devolved...

I'm now trying random stuff to see if there is some combo that will kill without cure exploding. I tried evolving Bat 2 and then devolving everything else. Seemed like it would be a clever approach but it didn't work.
A new theory regarding NAZG: So far, no one has the slightest clue. This could translate into that almost everyone makes the same mistake. What sort of mistake could be universal accross the vast majority of players? Possibility a) Maybe the virus has to start at a country that hardly ever anyone starts at in order to trigger a special event, ie. Angola. Possibility b) The virus might have a kill switch ability that becomes visible after acquiring a certain combination of skills. Since players are focusing on specific paths, this might have been omissed. Possibility c) There is a huge number of yellow banners both before and after Cytopathic Reanimation that "do nothing". There is also a red banner that "does nothing" although that particular one only triggers after Cytopathic Reanimation gets activated. Maybe those yellow banners actually DO SOMETHING... Possibility d) <insert your own crazy conspiracy theory here>

That's a different event. You get Medicine I (or II, can't recall) and you eventually ruin the event. It's basically a +infectivity% event.

I once more managed to get the Chernobyl achievements while Ukraine was long dead. Is this a bug? Can anyone replicate it? It seems that as long as you get the "virus originated at Chernobyl" pop-up, the event becomes unstoppable.
Not sure on that...but was going for my Chernobyl achieves according to the post above....might need to add when to add bird and bat in there....I was following the post and never added them and didn't get military deployed so think those are definatly needed in there...going to mess with it now and try to finish it up.... Nevermind that....just got the military to deploy without any bird or bat...I'm thinking I had my disease spreading way to fast or something....
I need some clarification regarding "dead end". Which abilities have to be evolved? I evolve every single one that mentions "combat advantage" and I fail every time... -_-
I'ts a Trap: Had ThermoNecro Genetic code inserted, when it came time - mummification, regeneration half way, ambush prediction, autolyic delay 1 and 2. got the acheivement without regenerating eygpt and with more than 3/4s population as zombies, helped save dna for severity.
