Plague Inc. Plague in Space Achievement strategy I finally figured out how to get the Plague in Space achievement! Here is what I did: Choose to play the Immune Plague cheat type on Brutal and start your plague in the USA. Start by getting the level one Drug Resistance (do not add any other drug resistance or genetic hardening because the cure is impossible. Drug Res 1 just allows the plague to spread faster in richer countries, like USA where you just started it). Then wait what seems like forever for your DNA to start building up. THEN... -evolve air 1 and water 1 -evolve all level 1 symptoms available -evolve air 2 and water 2 -evolve heat 1 and cold 1 -evolve bird 1 and insect 1 -now start evolving all level 2 symptoms but no level 3 symptoms yet ***once all humans are infected*** -evolve Immune Suppression for lethality -evolve Siezures and Insanity **but** devolve Siezures to reduce lethality ***keep the lethality low by devolving any further symptoms that mutate Just wait now. In my case, the "Space Cure mission planne" message came up 4/2017. Then the "Space Cure mission launches!" message came up 7/2017. Then the "Space Cure mission failure!" message popped up 10/2017 and I got the Plague in Space achievement. This may not work on the first or second try, but keep on trying this combo and it will eventually work. Good luck! -Jeff
Re. Space achievement For a rough guide on how I do both the space and nuke achievements in the same game see my posting on page 90. Insect is not required, true it adds to infectivity but with no cure we are not up against the clock. It also add to mutation chance and I prefer more control. Drug 2 is required if you want to nuke. Bird 2 for China, cold 2 for Russia.
Cheats Won't Unlock? So after a couple hard weeks of playing this game I finally (as of about 10 minutes ago) beat all plagues on Brutal. Bio-Weapon was by far the hardest failing more times than any other plague combined. (At least hardest for my strategies) After beating it I expected to unlock the cheats (as it even says so in the achievements) but nothing unlocked. After beating everything, is there anything special I need to do to unlock this or is it bugged or what?
Cheats unlock Doesn't say what type of device, if IOS have you beaten then Neurax worm? The cheats require all original 7 diseases and the new ones, in the case of IOS that's the worm at the moment. Not sure if required but I beat them all on casual, hard and brutal. Post a picture of your disease page, each disease should have 3 little white stripes in the top right hand corner. A couple of people have had problems unlocking the cheats, an email to the developer usually resolves.
Space disease So i got space disease, oink oink and almost had USA nuke China in one game. i started in USA and got drug 2 quickly on cure immune also i had all animal transfers and blood 2 Oink oink - the symptoms i had were nausea, vomiting, pneumonia, diarrhoea, coughing, inflammation, fever, sneezing (i didnt have sneezing and pneumonia for a long time and then added them, shortly after i got it) Space infection - i didnt have a violent (deadly) disease but the whole world infected. Gill Bates wanted to send scientists into space to find a cure. Space Cure Mission -> Space Cure Mission Launch -> Space Cure Mission Fail = achievement. Nuking China - the president falls ill, it will tell you in a popup. add insanity. Spalin gets elected. shortly after she blames china for the disease and then police arrested her... almost nuked them...

Don't know why but this face scares me and at the same time I want to stare at it... Seems like this zombie plague is gonna be based on Necrosis, right? And will be cured fastly etc.
Looking forward to it, completed all the plagues and achievements so now I'm working on fastest time for all plagues - nothing below 200 yet except cheat. I think I'm being too conservative about visibility.
I would like to thank everyone who has posted guides in this thread for various achievements and whatnot. I have been playing this game for a few weeks now, and it got me hooked. Once I beat every plague on brutal, I decided to try for the achievements, but obviously some will drive one insane if you don't know how to do it. Every google search always pointed me to this thread, so I sucked it up and started looking through it. Managed to get my last achievement yesterday so all is well is the world lol. Bring on the update!

Speed My best is 190 days, but even that is short of MKESABER'S 176 days posted on page 104. They also posted later on same page a method.
Can Spalin ever get elected? Hello all, I have been trying to get USA to nuke China/Russia with no effort. I have tried at least 5 of your methods, all to no avail. I can consistently get the POTUS sick when the US is at 10% dead, 90% infected, and as soon as it occurs I get insanity. As soon as this happens, Spalin is in office but he/she never issues a threat. Am I missing something? Drug 1+2, swine flu symptoms, infect at 50% severity at no more than 30% and lethality at 5%. I have not gotten bird 2 or insect/cold 2. Any help?
Nuking Spalin issues the threat after you get either cold 2 ( Russia ) or bird 2 ( china ) So once she is voted in add either bird 2 or cold 2, then wait a couple of months. You need insomnia, paranoia and possibly seizures. Add paralysis once threat issued.
Peer ls sure See my posting on page 90 there is one more screen. The achievement is to have your disease noticed after riots, all you have so fr is the riots.

Yes, I also have mor pictures. I realized that I was playing this in a restaurant, and so Game Center could not cloud sync the data for some reason and the achievement did not register. I did eventually get an achievement. Just to clarify, that one country with the rots should start cure research, and another screen should say that the plague is real, correct? On a completely random side note, first game to see a dev actually interact with the community- thanks Ndemic!
