Ndemic please respond Why don't I always get the Spalin threat pop up after getting Spalin voted in. I use the same method that got me the Russia nuke achievement right after I updated, but in 35 games I have had the pop up 5 times. That is far too random. Please please please hint, clue, detailed info, something to stop me going mad. Also a call to all who have nuked China, please repeat and detail your sequence (exactly what you spend DNA points on and in what order please) the Ndemic says Russia/China are different, not random.
I got cotaminated package by mistake! I was trying to get the Nuke achievements. I got the US to nuke China and I had some spare DNA points so I got extreme zoonosis and the special insect/blood transmission and after a while i got the cotaminated package achievement. I also got the nuclear meltdown achivement later in the game!
First, if you have them unlocked, use the Immune Cheat. START IN CHINA. 1. To get the POTUS ill: First off, I don't think transmission matters at all in getting the POTUS sick. But the very first thing you NEED is DRUG 1&2. Add symptoms as you get more DNA. Because you are using the Immune Cheat, you don't have to worry about it becoming noticed. Evolve coughing, sneezing, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pneumonia, insomnia, paranoia. You can have others also, just don't overdue the lethality. 2. Once the POTUS is sick, evolve insanity. It may or may not take a while to get Spalin voted in, but I think you have to make sure that the USA is "BUSINESS AS USUAL". Which means, once the POTUS is sick, mess around evolving and devolving to get "BUSINESS AS USUAL". 3. Once she is elected, WAIT. DON'T DO ANYTHING. If everything has gone as said, it won't take long for her to threaten someone, hopefully China. 4. When/if she threatens China ADD PARALYSIS. 5. Done. China will be nuked within days/months. Feel free to ask me for anything else. I know how frustrating this is...
I was playing on immune cheat and I had drug resistance 1&2. For symptoms I had insommia, paranoia, seisures, insanity, cysts, paralysis, imflammation,and maybe some other ones... I also had air 1 and water 1. I started in Russia. Thats all I remember. Hope this helps?#
I think it is mainly random but Ndemic said that there is a slightly different strategy for it. I have both the nuke achievements and there was no noticible strategy change. I suggest that you make some minor tweaks to your strategy.#
Response to ACE42292 I can get Spalin voted in fairly consistently, but only 1 in 10 games does the threat pop up get displayed - same methods each time. I tried starting in Argentina. Took Drug 1, then Drug 2, then coughing, insect 1. Cysts mutated - disease noticed Blood 1, sneezing, nausea, vomit, insomnia in that order Diarrhoea, inflame, fever (scientists had awareness of this) Anemia mutated, devolved cysts and anemia. Infect 48, Sev 24, Lethal 6 (approx) waiting - waiting, zzzzzzz. 1st jan 2016 bored no potus, world infected. blood 2, insect 2 Hyper Sense mutated Infect 61, Sev 26, Lethal 6.1 Cysts, absess, anemia, haemo Infect 72, Sev 36, Lethal 6.1 March 2016 Potus ill, 10% (33.9 million dead in US) seizures, insanity April 2016 Spalin voted in. Infect 83, Sev 59, Lethal 9 approx wait, wait more, go to sleep, eventually world dead, no threat pop up even though Spalin voted in Why?
Found a minor bug you may want to fix in the next update, if you pause the game and then press the high speed time button it will play at normal speed until you press the normal speed button then high speed again.
Is it just me, does everyone else always get the threatens pop up, or once every 2 games. I feel one in ten is way too random?
