I would think it's possible that in putting together the specifics of the HIV scenario the dev's may have had some second thoughts about including that one. I could see where some of the details might present issues that they are not particularly enthusiastic about representing in the game... Just for clarification, am I correct in thinking the $10.99 Plague Pack is essentially a "full game unlock" that opens up all the expansions that have been released and will be released?
Loving this game so far, although I have only played two games! I thought I won the second games, but apparently there were some uninfected people left - even though the world was fully red!
I'm having trouble understanding the iaps, The scenario pack at £1.99 unlocks all scenarios? The necro virus expansion pack is a new disease? The neurax worm is also a new disease? The three cheats pack unlocks ? The 7 plagues pack unlocks the seven standard plagues. Do the plague pack at £7.99 unlock everything? I'm keen to unlock everything but not sure which iaps I need to do this, obv I don't wanna pay for the same stuff twice, I'm probably being ditzy but it's a bit confusing to me lol.
- The scenarios pack unlocks all 14 current scenarios, and any future ones. - The Necroa virus is a completely different game mode, with a zombie theme. Its awesome! - The Neurax worm is also a completely new game mode, with new everything. Its my favorite thing in the game. Awesome. - the 3 cheats pack just unlocks your different DNA, which you actually unlock by winning anyway. - 7 plague pack, idk. Haven't bought it.
You don't need to pay to unlock everything haha, once you beat a diseas you unlock the next one, then repeat. Scenarios are the only ones that need to be bought
Or if you are like me and just want to fool around, Plague Inc. becomes quite fun once I bought most of the IAPs and could just play it without conatraints...
Any chance you'll update the app icon with a flatter iOS 7 look? I know it is a picky thing to ask for, but would be nice to include this in the next big update if you have one planned. Great game and update btw! Oh and please add an alien type scenario. Or even a plague that let's us remaining humans control zombies to attack the alien race. Sound stupid, but insane
If you like the game, then definitely. I think there's actually a bundle that has all of them now. These In-App purchases are basically like getting Plague Inc 2 & Plague Inc. 3. They add a TON of content to an already great game. @NDemic - can we please get a confirmation as to exactly what's contained in the new In-App bundle?
Yep, had a couple of reports of this. It is to do with people going to the scenario screen too quickly and it doesn't have time to download all info from apple Working on a fix currently. Restarting will fix it Sorry - the blogpost is a preview and things can change before final release - you shouldn't see anything about 15 scenarios / HIV on the release materials? Correct - everything except the cheats and genes (which you get by playing normally) Plague Pack gives all current and future Expansion content (scenarios and plague types) The price is reduced if you have already brought / unlocked content so you won't pay for stuff twice.
Just want to add that even with a fresh install and restart, I also can't get past the opening title on my iPhone 5 with the latest non-jailbroken iOS. Is this another game that can't handle that I have nearly the max of 493 Game Center pals? It runs okay on my iPad 3 thankfully.
I currently have 482 "friends" and no problems on my ancient iPad 2 iOS 7.0.3. Everything runs smooth. Great update again, thanx a lot for a game that keeps on giving.
Thanks for clearing that up. Im glad to hear new diseases will still be unlockable by beating previous ones on brutal. That was always great incentive to beat everything on brutal.
Dat Cure To the doctors in my smallpox scenario: If you guys could not work so hard that you fund a cure for smallpox within a month, that would be great. I love all the new scenarios; They are a lot of fun, and change things up a lot. I really like the new diseases at well. Adding fomites and vaccination campaigns was a nice touch. I have most of them down, and simply need to perfect my scoring of them, except for smallpox. I can't even get a score on the board when playing smallpox on brutal. That stuff is intense. I completed it on normal barely, but I need a completely new strategy for doing it on brutal. Has anyone done it on brutal yet?
