Speed run! Well this speed run is certainly addictive an adds even more playablity to an already awesome game, good job James! Here are my scores so far... Bacteria-270 Virus-254 Fungus-279 Parasite-331 Prion-323 Nano-225 Bio weapon-253 Neaurax-265 Necroa-479 I'm still improving on some of these scores but if anyone would like to share some tactics for Fungus and Necroa it would be much apreciated!
Idea for future mutation, a plague from space! I know this has been mentioned before but it could be amazing, really weird symptoms like invaision of the body snatchers and also I think choosing countries that infected meteors could fall on (like Trojan planes) would be sweet! Imagine destroying the world via infected meteor showers! Sweet!

My best score for nano is 225, not much better than you, I used the same strategy as for bacteria but make it a but more lethal earlier on, only use one broadcast intercept thingy! Sorry that's not helpful, good luck! Got a good neurax worm strategy by any chance?
I see you go for the Transendance route too, I'm guessing a death route would take to long but haven't tried, yet...

Not really. I'll try. I'm pretty sure i did it once,or was it 370? No clue.. It's hard cause you need all the help you can get from the game. I would go with SG pretty damn fast and hopefully it will do the trick. I'll try and see what i come up with As for Neurax Worm.. I'm using the gene which doesen't increase transmission costs. Symptoms are pretty expensive this way
Just be quicker and pick and chose transmissions, the order does help. Presently my best is 170 days.

Nice score dude! And yeah I think neurax has the darkest symptoms of all the plagues! Blindness, aggression, mania and suicide, to name a few! Scary stuff! All hail the neurax worm...
