Stone ogre? I can tell you're not a fan. Excellent; I'll keep trying to crack NAZG whilst eagerly awaiting the update. All the new features sound promising.
An idea for a new symptom combo: The Glutton Combo. Insomnia and Polyphagia means that the infected now compulsively eat all night, as well as during the day. Further reduces hygiene with an increase to infectivity.
No, I'm not a fan, I only know he's called the stone ogre because my cousin went as it for halloween four years ago. With that said, one more thing I'd like to point out: I join the forum=James starts commenting again. Coincidence? NO. I am your savior! Bow down to me fools! BOW DOWN TO ME.
+1 vote. But it couldn't increase it too much, because those are easy to get. I can see this is a subconscious plea to make NAZG easier.
During the Necroa Spalin nuke efforts I actually tried that to prevent the generals from arresting Spalin. If you can prove you did something that directly resulted in James commenting again I'd bow, until then I will assume the more likely scenario of James just messing with us. To James/Ndemic. Will the update be beta tested?
Didn't anyone ever tell you if you want to bow down to something you have to believe in it? Not have proof? Also, to James, I can't find anything on the date. Is that TBA?
Pffft, ask the majority of the Americans how they believed in a guy whose presidental campaign was 'I will pay you money to do nothing, fill your cars with nuts and corn oil, and half our deficit.'. Twice. So compared to some, I'm not such a bad thing to believe in. Does anybody know the name of the new employee? Yes, I try to keep track of that.
Hi I've followed this thread for some time and I just managed to do something with the necroa virus so I thought I'd come on here see if my method would help. I'll try to replicate my steps as exactly as I can remember them. I'm sorry if I get the names wrong, I'm doing this from memory on some of it. I started a necroa game on brutal since I've yet to finish it on brutal. I still haven't because when I achieved no healthy people left without the virus being discovered I had to come post it. I currently have no cure clock. I hope this isn't a fluke. Difficulty: brutal Starting Gene mods: Metabolic Hijack(auto pops bubbles), the travel mod that affects ship transmission, spliced activation modifier? (the one that reduces active ability costs), creationist, and the one that gives a bonus for all environments Started in Iceland. Evolution order: Saliva 1 and 2 Water 1 Drug Res 1 and 2 Gene Hard Heat 1 Blood 1 Air 1 After saliva and water I took a little while to evolve the other spacing the evolutions out. I evolved heat, blood and air over about 5-10 minutes as I tried to get Africa and the middle east infected. I wonder if the game checks to see if you have evolved anything recently and then if you haven't done anything with your plague in a while it forces a mutation on you IE you've evolved a few things and then just sat and waited accruing DNA and didn't do anything once your basic set up was done. I waited anywhere from a few minutes to no more than 5 minutes between each evolution. Also I think I managed to evolve something about every billion or so infected. I think there is either a time based or population based check that periodically happens to see if you've evolved your plague and if you haven't it makes you through mutation. I hope this helps and I hope I'm not repeating something someone else has said. I will try replicating this on an easier setting once I've let my zombies eat this brutal world.
My zombies ate the world so fast the cure clock only got to 78%. I'll try this method on easy later today my wife has an a lot of things she wants done around the house and town
Try harder I've done brutal with 7% cure clock, see post 2280 on page 228. There are more randoms mutations on easy (5-7) and normal (2-4) verses brutal (1-3), but certain abilities and genes reduce this to zero forced mutations for brutal Numbers are my estimates
Nazg is like giving a kid a tree and then expect him to make chair out of it. What were you thinking Ndemic?
Watch it, mate. I can make chairs out of trees. This was more like taking a molehill, then making a mountain out of it, then shooting an epic VFX time with it by stuffing it full of TNT, then sending it to Mars to fight Megatron's army of Devastator clones. We were given a task that sounded super simple but was blown out of porportion in the end. So lets try to solve it again out of lack of things to do! We know zoonotic shift transmissions speed cure, but what if we just devolve them when the plague is discovered?
True I just try ramdom combinations every time on necroa now hoping for something had a few look promising then failed misrably at about 1.5 billion
Best I have ever done is 3 billion dead ( less that half ) at 100% cure. There has to be some event or sequence that causes either more lethality or reduces cure or both. I still believe it involves segmented genome as it doesn't seem to have any other purpose. Invariably I fully infect the rich countries with just drug 1 so for me there is no need to evolve drug 2 outside of nuking, hence my belief that NAZG involves segmented genome as I don't evolve it generally.
Probably, and I have tried, however if we miss a step beforehand or afterwards we still aren't going to get NAZG.
Wow, you guys really did. I may have joined this a bit late. Let's make a poem about our frustration and equal passion towards NAZG and beg James for another hint.
