That gene has always stuck in my mind as a NAZG possibility. It seems to be relatively un appealing gene in most circumstances, and it also lies near the zombie Transmission that appears above Air 2. To my knowledge that is the only Transmission that appears after evolving CR.
I knew about the snail and rat ones The snail ones actually go into the eye tentacles and make them pulsate in bright colors so that birds will eat them. Then they reproduce and lay eggs in the bird. The eggs then come out with the bird's poop, which the snails then eat. Ahh, the circle of life..
Obviously not, but then some people just don't get it. There is always replay ability; achievements, faster, higher score, or just the fun of it.
Decent game 1 thing I'm confused: Why is the version in iOS paid as opposed to the Android version which is free?
This is what I understand. IOS is 99 cents for the game, but you don't need to buy an IAP to unlock the add on diseases ( Neurax and Necroa ) Android has a free version, but to unlock the add-on diseases you have to buy one IAP. I have an iPad so can't say how much the Android IAPs cost, maybe someone with an Android device can comment
Android user here. As far as it seems, I can unlock everything the all-Brutal method for free as I got the Necroa right after release, having beaten everything else on brutal. Although before I knew that, and before I had beaten even half of them, I purchased Neurax for $1.99. The 'free' version is a version without the ability to install genes for diseases (You still collect them from winning games, but can't use any) as well as no fast forward button and ingame ads appear down underneath the World button on the HUD (Making the button smaller in the process). Any single purchase, or the default purchases of $.99 removes the free version annoyances. But any add-on requires either a $1.99 purchase or everything on brutal. Other possible purchases include unlocking all disease types without beating on normal, unlocking all 3 cheat types right away, and unlocking all of the genes for use. But I don't remember any of these prices right now. On top of all that android gets updates about a week late. That said, when you guys get 1.6 and figure out NAZG I can try it out on my 1.5 version before I update and see how possible it was without being dumbed down.
So to play plague ad free costs 99 cents on Android, making it the same cost as on iPad. I paid 99 cents to get it on iPad and have unlocked everything the defeat on brutal method since.
Android is free but its .99c or 60 something pence to remove ads and use genes iaps are expensive tho
I love this game's freemium model, it rewards hard work but doesn't force a grind or a false end-point on the player. I recently got the game for my Android handset as well as my iOS tablet and am *mostly* enjoying the challenge of unlocking everything again.
I have a Nexus 7 (Android) and I prefer Plague Inc. on my Ipod it's better to have already bought fastforwarding and other things rather than having to do it later!
Got the update yesterday on Android. Added "Google Play Games" achievements/leaderboards feature. And also added a new achievement, "Glory of the Dead". The funny part is that the achievement description is not written completely. "Win with the necroa virus...". So we can't complete it, as we can't read it elsewhere, what makes knowing what to do impossible. Weird!
Might be the same as the iPad "the glorious dead" achievement, where all you have to do is win by any means with Necroa
We've got an achievement called "Win a game with the Necroa Virus", and I already earned it. I won 3 games with Necroa today (1 in casual and 2 in normal mode), and it didn't unlock anything. It's strange, because since the update, some achievements have changed their names. Mr. NDemic, please, can we have some informations about that? Edit : Just won one necroa on brutal, nothing happened. Wtf?
Thanks for the info so far. It's working a treat. i have a quick and possibly slightly German question. When you say gene hard (a pun on die hard?) do you mean buy lots of different zombie symptoms and abilities? Does it matter if you evolve CR from hyper salivation? In my experience if you buy too many symptoms before the dark water message claiming responsibility for the virus shows up you won't be able to accomplish the achievement, so timing is key. Cheers!
Gene H = Genetic hardening 1, next to drug 1 on the abilities page. CR from insomnia slows down the cure more than CR from hyper salivate, more time For Chernobyl soup to nuts see post 2070 on page 207. For DarkWater soup to nuts see post 2093 on page 210.
Yeah I've got android version as well and its just wat it says "win with necroa virus" I got it today after reinstalling to complete again
There was a second update within 24 hours (I wasn't paying close enough attention). All I know now is "The Glorious Dead" is checked off in my achievement list.
