It's driving me crazy. Besides.. Who knows how much longer will it take for the update to be released? Could be weeks..
Days.. Weeks.. Months... Years.. It doesen't matter. I wanted to solve it before that. Guess it's impossible and we'll have to wait
I don't think it's impossible; as James has done it several times. I think that it's just hard for anyone who doesn't know exactly how to do it
Without knowing the first step, we're not gonna solve anything. Much worse, even if we stumbled on the first step, there is no way to know it, because all steps need to be completed to know that you figured it out. And I'm guessing that "it" is slow/stop the cure. And even that is just a guess. All this to say we're looking for several needles in a haystack. I'm done looking (several hundred attempts later). No hint is forthcoming, so I'll wait for the update. good luck to anyone who continues to look.
It may be a small breadcrumb, but for Bird/bat/rodent 2, there is mention of 'partial genetic activation' which causes critters to attack.. I also noticed that the cure took off more slowly with evolving these (slightly) lethal transmissions. Perhaps there's some magical/unknown combination involving this along with SG? Been trying variants of this with GH and a few others, but no other leads yet.
Has anyone else stumbled on the Containment Breach yet. I've only seen it twice. I'm trying to duplicate it now. It's always eradicated before it can take off on its own.
No, I already have all achievements except NAZG. NAZG is the only one I've been working on. The first time it was in France but it was when I first started playing Necroa. Today it happened in Finland. I've only started in either India or Saudi Arabia today. I haven't been able to duplicate it yet, but I haven't changed any genes since then. I keep trying, but I was wondering if anyone else has happened upon this yet.
I have had it a few times. As far as I can tell, it similar to 'spontaneous infect of ' pop up we get in the traditional disease types. However I have only seen it occur in nazg post zombie. Where u in zombie mode?
Yes, both times. I've already beat all of them on Brutal including Necroa so nazg is the only thing I'm working on.
Logically, if there has been a containment breach and mutate it as soon as I get the pop up, the cure will no longer work. Maybe use a reshuffle or add some symptoms. I need to test this, but I can't figure out how I did it in the first place.
lol. I think we are misunderstanding each other. I am playing the zombie virus. I would think it would be obvious that if zombies were mutated the achievement would be a bust. NAZG is Not Another Zombie Game as in no zombies. If zombies mutate, I just restart. I'm not a zombie fan at all, so I haven't wasted any time on them since beating it on brutal and getting the other achievements. I don't see the point. It probably means nothing, but I was just wondering if anyone else has seen it. I've seen the icure fail too without sweating. Who knows what any of it means afterwards or if it means anything at all? It's always right before eradication and I'm out of points when it happens. We'll figure it out sooner or later.
Wouldn't that be a "breadcrumb" then? If the NaZG achievement has no "breadcrumbs" then the containment breach, and any other pop up are simply Red Herrings. NaZG would appear to require blind stumbling around on transmission, symptoms and abilities until the cure slows down more than normal or simply flatlines. If there's logic behind the NaZG achievement, it's pretty hard to find a thread that makes any sense with the available options of combinations we can use. I've tried bats, birds, rodents, with blood, saliva, cold, Hyper Salivation moving along the vampire route to no avail, and multiple other random combinations with no hint of a cure slowdown or stop. Between all the users of this board it's hard to believe that almost every logical theory hasn't been explored to some degree or another. I'm with most of the other users on this board having found myself giving up on NaZG for the time being and looking at speed and personal high scores. Good luck to you remaining NaZG hunters out there
I've had Containment Breach messages in Nanovirus (and maybe Bio-Weapon) on countries researching the cure that haven't been infected yet, so I'm not sure a containment breach (unless you're getting a completely different message than I have) is specific to Necroa. It's been, in my experience, akin to the "Spontaneous infection of ..." messages. As to the iCure Failure messages, in Necroa, if you get the iCure Device pop-up, you evolve Hypersalivation to break the device. Hence, no Sweating. ETA: Excepting the "Containment Breach" message that is part of the Darkwater Origin series of achievements.
