There’s no actual gameplay? I’m just decorating my garden. Like with aquariums in Fishdom games minus the gameplay that earns currency to buy stuff. That’s replaced by walking IRL. Correct? Don’t get me wrong. It’s not a criticism. I’m pushing myself to do at least 12.000 steps a day so if nothing else, I could finally put those steps into some use. I’m just curious. Btw, love the pixel art! Ferulci likes this. Ferulci Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 53 26 18 #3 Ferulci, May 29, 2023 Hi macplash! Thank you for your question (and happy that you love the art!), don't worry it makes total sense. To be honest, I don't know what qualifies as gameplay but In Pixsteps you can: - Customize your garden by installing, moving or removing any plants/items that has been installed beforehand. - Get XP for your walk which unlocks new items and increase your Garden. - Purchase new items with your accumulated steps. I hope that answers your question! Alex DeLargest likes this. Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,236 540 113 #4 Brightsiderus, May 29, 2023 Yeah, it answers the question. Because judging by the screenshots it’s just items placed willy-nilly without any organization or planning. Ferulci likes this. We are using a tile system and you've got a grid by doing a long touch in order to make sure everything is aligned but while we toyed with the idea of fences and sidewalk, those are features that are not there (yet) for release. jkluk23, Alex DeLargest and macplash like this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #8 macplash, May 30, 2023 @Ferulci the possibility of future additions and other QoL improvements is a good enough reason for me to make a purchase. My question/suggestion, do you have a day/night system? If no, would be lovely to add it, with the option to add lanterns that would light up at a certain time. And if it isn’t challenging enough, add a disaster mode that would randomly (not too often) add natural disaster that would force you to repair/fix some of your items by walking a few extra steps. o0oJAKEo0o Well-Known Member May 23, 2012 322 1 16 Full-Time Student KCMO #15 o0oJAKEo0o, Jun 12, 2023 I think the game is broken in its current state unfortunately.
