    It's only 1 land. I think it's a cute joke.

I have 30 City Squares fully upgraded. I upgraded a few other building like Tavern, Hero Mansion, etc. But skipped low cps buildings.

I can only check in a few times a day, so the City Squares produce a decent amount.

If I can get all glass housing then it makes the Tavern look very desirable. But since I am not crunched for land, I much prefer my army of Shiny Towers.

Im sure the ballpark will get more workers soon like umpires and whatnot.

On another note, I have -138 alistian and -93 lions haha. I love it when I get missions like old mcdonald and nine lives that require all alistians lions respectively.

IMO, it's a land thing. A huge fleet of City Squares is fine even for people who don't play that often because they make money so fast, on that rare day when you can check in 10 or 12 times, yow! For me, I have 10 and I think that's my limit - saving some land for future patches!

Just updated my spreadsheet, and actually the Tech Support earns less per work cycle than the Ballpark. Tech Support earns 2400 per tap at level 1 (with IAP) and Ballpark earns 3600 per tap at level 1 (with IAP).

So, I thought that since I just finished adjusting my spreadsheet, that I would share some data with you all:

Note: Figures below are based on level 1 buildings WITH Double Time IAP, you may need to adjust figures according to your upgrades and IAP status.

    CPS = Coins Per Second
WCI = Work Cycle Income (CPS * Working Time)

Top 3 Highest WCI per clone
    1.) Stadium - 115,200 WCI per clone
    2.) Theater - 72,000 WCI per clone
    3.) Observatory/Circus/Film Studio - 57,600 WCI per clone

Top 3 Highest CPS per clone
    1.) Altar - 50 CPS per clone
2.) City Square - 34.7 CPS per clone
3.) Business Center - 16 CPS per clone

Top 3 Highest WCI per land (not including housing)
    1.) Bar - 259,200 WCI per land
    2.) Theatre - 216,000 WCI per land
    3.) Forensic Lab/Stadium/Film Studio - 172,800 WCI per land

Top 3 Highest CPS per land (not including housing)
    1.) Tavern/Hero Mansion - 84 CPS per land
2.) Dance Studio - 60 CPS per land
3.) City Square - 52 CPS per land

Top 3 Highest WCI per land (including housing)
1.) Theatre - 144,000 WCI per land (with houses)
2.) Stadium - 138,240 WCI per land (with houses)
3.) Bar - 129,600 WCI per land (with houses)

Top 3 Highest CPS per land (including housing)
1.) Tavern/Hero Mansion - 42 CPS per land (with houses)
2.) City Square - 41.6 CPS per land (with houses)
3.) Dance Studio - 30 CPS per land (with houses)

Here is how to use these stats to build your town:

If you play for extended periods of time, or dozens of times a day, use the CPS lists.

If you only play once or twice a day, use the WCI lists.

If you hate waiting for clones at the arrival center and want to use the least amount of clones to make money, use the "per clone" list.

If you have or plan to upgrade all of your housing to astroglass, then use the "per land (not including houses)" list.

If land is an issue for you, use the "per land (including houses)" list.

I hope this helps some of you out.

Also, for just for fun, here are the Worst 3 from each category above (a.k.a. don't build these :p)

Top 3 Lowest WCI per clone
1.) Tech Support - 800 WCI per clone
    2.) Sheriff's Office - 1,280 WCI per clone
    3.) Sushi Bar/Stable - 1,600 WCI per clone

Top 3 Lowest CPS per clone
    1.) Ballpark/Building Firm/Construction Yard/Town Hall*/Concert Hall/Casino - 2 CPS per clone
    2.) Diner - 2.5 CPS per clone
    3.) Sushi Bar/Stable/Nursery/Fire Station/Farm/Space Port - 2.7 CPS per clone

Top 3 Lowest WCI per land (not including housing)
1.) Tech Support - 2,400 WCI per land
    2.) Ballpark - 3,600 WCI per land
    3.) Sheriff's Office - 3,840 WCI per land

Top 3 Lowest CPS per land (not including housing)
1.) Town Hall* - 1.5 CPS per land
    2.) Ballpark/Casino/Space Port - 2 CPS per land
3.) Concert Hall - 3 CPS per land

Top 3 Lowest WCI per land (including housing)
1.) Tech Support - 1,600 WCI per land (with houses)
2.) Sheriff's Office - 2,560 WCI per land (with houses)
3.) Ballpark - 3086 WCI per land (with houses)

Top 3 Lowest CPS per land (including housing)
1.) Town Hall* - 1.3 CPS per land (with houses)
    2.) Ballpark/Casino - 1.7 CPS per land (with houses)
3.) Space Port - 1.8 CPS per land (with houses)

    * The Town Hall can not be duplicated, thank goodness, because it is an awful producer of coins.

Have you made a 'best per tap' list? That's what I'd find most helpful - I build one of each building and fully staff them all, so the per land/per clone is not really relevant, but I don't re-tap stuff much during the day, so per tap is more important than CPS.
If you haven't nevermind, either way I really appreciate all the work you do working all this stuff out!

I too only have 1 of each building, so per tap is good. I do have a list of all buildings earnings by tap, I call it "Work Cycle Income" or WCI for short. I can upload the list tomorrow if you would like. I have it stored on my work computer.

    Great stuff!

If you really want to geek out in Excel, you could see where the intersection is between WCI and CPS. So how many times would you have to check-in per day, before it makes it more profitable to follow the CPS numbers instead of the WCI.

Looks good vicsarc, here is my optimized screen for tapping trees/hearts

Here is a tip, put your Town Hall in the center of your 1 screen layout, like mine, and then you can use the "Return to Origin" button in the lower left corner and it will perfectly center your setup from anywhere else in town. I also have the Arrival Center (for clones), the Utopia HQ (for missions), and the Business Center ( to check if everything is running) all visible as well.

Below my trees are my "timers" explained below:

Note: I have the Double Time IAP and ALL of my buildings are Level 5.

    Utopium Mine = 20 minutes
    Police Station = 30 minutes
    Hero Mansion = 40 minutes
    Law Firm = 50 minutes
    Animal Shelter = 1 hour 40 minutes
    Arena = 2 hours 30 minutes
    Funeral Parlor = 3 hours 20 minutes
    Building Firm = 4 hours 10 minutes
    Nursery = 5 hours
    TV Station = 7 hours 30 minutes
    Ninja HQ = 10 hours
    Research Lab = 12 hours 30 minutes
    Forensic Lab = 15 hours
    Farm = 20 Hours

These 14 buildings represent all the different working times of every building in the game. I have arranged all my businesses around my "center screen" in groups based on work time, laid out clockwise starting with my 20 minute businesses at 12 o'clock and ending with my 20 hour businesses at 11 o'clock. At the beginning of the day I simply tap all my businesses, starting at my 12 position and going around till the 11 position, then I tap all my timer buildings and main buildings (Town Hall, Business Center, and Utopia HQ). Then I can spend all day on my "center screen" tapping trees and hearts. If I see one of my timers light up, I go restart all the buildings in that group and then restart my timer, so as long as I am playing, all my businesses are running. Plus, if I just check in real quick, I know exactly what needs to be started with out having to scroll around my city.

It might not be the prettiest city, but man is it efficient!

    Hi all.
I have a little issue with one of the achievements.
It's the "One Giant Leap" one.
It asks for 30 trees, but i already have 31 and it didn't register it.
Is there anything i can do to unstuck it?
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, there are so many comments in this thread i'm too lazy to check them all.

    It requires about 34 trees.

It asks for you to build 30 and 4 were already there when you started.

Has been discussed many many times, but to answer your question, the achievement says "Built 30 Trees" not have 30 trees, so you need to build more trees. Your town starts with about 3-4 trees, so you need to build about 2-3 more to get the achievement.

    EDIT: Dang, ninja'd

I went with form over function in my city, so the the timers are not in an optimized layout.

I have a downtown with the taller building, a tech district, a food district, a University area with the Stadium (my world only has college sports).

My trees are lumped together, though, and my housing is fairly close as well.

I know this is a late reply, but thanks to those who reply to me in the last pages, suggesting stadiums over city squares for CPS.

Stadiums actually may make it easier for me, or else I'm going have to upgrade the city squares and infinite amount of times :/

Why do you guys need to have your housing visible in your optimized screen? When a new heart pops up, the meter blinks and if you tap the meter, the screen scrolls to show the house with the heart.

Also, with astroglass housing you'll need 154 squares for all your clones (more if you duplicate any buildings), so there's no way to see all of that together with your trees.

I think it's only necessary to keep your trees together.

For me, it is simply faster for me to collect hearts if I see them pop up, whereas I don't always notice if the heart bar is flashing.

I have thought about astroglass housing, and I figure that if I do eventually get enough of it, that I will separate my trees from my houses. Since I only tap trees until I have reached 25u for the day, I don't need them on my main screen all day.

But I guess it is all a matter of personal preference.
