Wonderful, thank you! I now have the 'socialite' gene and this seems to have fixed my issue with the game crashing to iOS when I click my people tab. :)

IF (and I have not confirmed) this is true, then I guess you could reorder all your housing by sending folks on vacation to maximize gold hearts.

We'll check it out. My current build is also suffering from the same skip bug you seem to be describing. I initially thought that it was due to me having only 2 missions left. Seems like it might have to do with ice and fire instead.

Problem with that is that your clones are randomly reassign a new housing when they return from the hotel.

Unless you optimize enough to have only one residential with vacant spots :D

Man, I'm not sure I would want to optimize the placement of my residents lol looks like hard work!

What would be cool is a way to export to JPG or similar a full-size picture of your Utopia. Can't really stitch it together manually as the background doesn't move relative to the tiles.

You could even have an online portal in the game where you could browse other people's Utopias to get inspiration, maybe rate them for U and get U in return for getting good ratings?!

Just got a surprise with 2 golden hearts, my fourth Unicorn. Still no new animal I need for the missions. Just how unlucky am I?! :p

Andrwsc, TRbIV, have you looked at the "special" missions?
the pricing looks really steep on them. Ok you get housing and trees that don't count for the land usage. But at a very high cost, that seems as high or higher as using church+regular decor/housing?
    Any thoughts?

    Im wondering about this too.
I have a mission for a precarious house. Cost 20u and 30 mil plus some animals and only holds 4, compared to the shiny tower which holds 6, cost 6u and 200k + 8u (assuming church) at the most.

Any insight on the numbers, Ivan?

    Requirement(s) Not Met

At Utopia HQ, I currently have two missions (Party Animals and In the Jungle) that I have apparently completed, but when I click complete, I get a "requirement(s) not met" prompt. For example, I have all the 9 objects needed for these two missions completed, and they are shown as highlighted, but am unable to receive the rewards of the mission when I click complete.

Additionally, and perhaps relatedly, I am unable to create new jobs, as none of the jobs are highlighted to enable me to unlock new ones. Is this a bug or am I possibly missing something? Thank you.

Did you splice the recipe needed for the mission in the mission hq?

Yes, AG stuff was initially only available via the casino. Some are rarer than others, but overall, they are rare rewards you get from playing the casino.

Some players were getting snubbed by Lady Luck due to the rarity of the rewards, and in response, we've made a set of missions that allowed you to get the AG stuff. As we didn't want the missions to be a replacement to the core residentials, we made it so that the missions only made sense to people who REALLY wanted a missing AG stuff. Presumably, this would only make sense late game.

We're thinking of either locking these missions till much later or make it difficult via requiring rare animals while lowering the U cost.

On another note: how is the casino for everyone?

It's great to have the chance to win more valuable stuff. My only two gripes are:

    1. Whereas pre-update 2 million would get me a surprise, now it is either 3.8 (shelter) or 7.5 million (Casino) to get a surprise. Not sure why it has to be so much more expensive now for something that cost 2 million before the update?
    2. The Casino can sometimes reward with unexciting normal animals. I guess this is the risk, but for such a high investment it would be nice if there was a 'minimum reward quality' cap when using the Casino

    1) How come you're shelter and casino are cheaper than mine? I pay 4 mil at the shelter for a surprise, and a cool 10 mil for a spin at the casino. Is there some upgrade you can get to lower those costs?

    2) The casino will never give you new animals. When it hands out animals (up to 4 at a time), it'll only reward ones you already have. Because of this, the casino isn't really too interesting until you have all the animals unlocked. The chances of getting a bunch of "useless" animals for quite some money are just to high imo. Especially when you could be spending that money at the shelter and (finally!!) get that one new animal you need for a mission (why yes, you guessed correctly, I'm still waiting on some of those :p)

Probably spirit (by using Decorations). I have 22 currently.

Ah I didn't realise it wouldn't give new animals. I guess until you have them all, money should go into the shelter.

Can't be it, I have maxed out my spirit (even surpassed it on account of some astroglass decorations I got). Still, 4 million for a suprise and 10 million for a spin at the casino.

Maybe level then? I'm level 17. (It says Level 17 in the expansion box, but not sure if that means I am level 17 or expand to get to level 17!?)

Perhaps. Im currently lvl 23. It could be that the shelter and casino costs go up when you level up? Perhaps Ivan can tell us?

    Level affects the following things:

    Cost of Casino
    Cost of Animal Shelter
    Cost of Land Expansion
    Utopium to Coin Exchange Rate
    Value of Coin Prizes
Amount of Spirit Needed for Max Discount

It seems that the cap for scaling occurs at Level 20 for everything except for Land and Spirit which seem to scale indefinitely. Also, I think the Utopium to Coin Exchange Rate caps off at around Level 28.

At Level 20+ (28+ for exchange rate) these are the max values:

    Cost of Casino: 10M
    Cost of Animal Shelter: 4M
Utopium to Coin Exchange Rate: 100u for 300M
    Value of Coin Prizes: 50K & 500K
