Thank you for helping, I really appreciate it. I tried doing what you did. I managed to get pass the "Chillingo" screen and the "Lambda Mu" screen to the start screen but it will still crash immediately. I looked through the game's reviews in the App Store and it looks like this is happening to other people too. Again, really appreciate everyone's help. I think I'll have to hold out for the next update and hope that something will happen.

Spoiler A lot of buildings have added clones, sometimes new to splice, sometimes older ones. A lot of features added to existing buildings as well, time to explore again my Utopia Timers for buildings have been drastically reduced so it seems The scaling of spirit might be a bit hard for higher levels, but good imho to have interest in decor again. If You need more land and have 50% discount and are high level, maybe you should buy land for 150m before updating though. I had 100 spirit and now need 186 to get 50% discount You also may permanently buy a heart more for 120u, only 4 to go. you can buy animals for coins directly as surprises for 4M coins (double the 2m surprise where you have 50% chance of getting one) ... Bravo LambdaMu, great content update!
One thing I've noticed in the new update is that you can no longer obtain Utopium in Surprises, which you used to be able to do through the Gene Pool. Surprises are now offered through the Animal Shelter but only offer animals and money. Have they just scrapped the ability to obtain Utopium through Surprises or is there a new alternative? I haven't checked whether you can still obtain Utopium through surprises earned via maxing out the hearts.
Hey guys. Remember me giving up hope on my last animal. Well this might just be a silly thought. But throughout the game when I was playing all along, I always have this feeling that you somehow seem to be able to get new animals when u expand your land. I have always believe in that till of cause I almost lost all my hope trying like hell for my last one. Then I was just blindly purchasing surprises and collecting utopiums to exchange for money so that I can purchase more surprises. This circle continues for close to 2 weeks with at least 1000 purchases in vain. Then I thought : maybe I should just expand again and see what happens. I know this is silly and not provable. Even the guys themselves said the animals are completely random. But guess what. I expanded my land twice. And got my last animal within 50 purchases at 1126th animal. This might just be a coincidence. So I just want to ask if anyone here had this feeling too : when u expand the land, you sort of "unlock" the new animals to be discover. I don't know. But I'm really excited when I got my last animal. And literally, the next immediate moment. The game updated and now I have 12 more to collect. The circle continues huh.
great content update! i'm level 19 at the moment, and there's this strange faded out line at the spirit page. and there's also a spelling error in the new achievement! (refer to attached photos) Spoiler - i received 85k and 450k coins from filling up the hearts so far. i'm level 19. - while filling up hearts, i observed 2 different colours! yellow and the original red. not sure what's going on though. maxed out the lab before the update, and i filled out 2 yellow hearts and 3 red hearts and received a new tier 5 animal. - utopia hq gives access to missions. - funeral parlor has a new special feature to toggle on/off spirit counter. not quite sure what it does though. - pressing on "vacation" will use 1 utopium to completely remove the person from the job and residential building.FOUND THE GUY INSIDE HOTEL UTOPIA LOL! - significant decrease in building time!!! first new building, utopia hq, took less than 20 minutes to complete, with 50% time discount.
A couple things; what does sending a person on vacation actually do? aside from like... using 1u? The other is to do with the forum, apparently I can't see the last 2 pages of any thread; In here I get redirected to page 149 even though it says there are 151 pages? What's up?
Forum bug is months old. When someone is on vacation they are not working and are not in their workplace of home, meaning you can delete housing!!!!!
Ah awesome; I didn't actually think of that. I can finally go back and delete those pesky houses and replace them with land efficient high rises. :3 the other thing I noticed you can use it for is to empty the arrival centre if the person is waiting on a building. Saves some time there. Ah, so it's just a bug lol. Sorry I'm a bit new here. Also, weren't the tree rewards supposed to scale with our level in this update? Coins are the same, +100 and +1000; however I got +3 u the first time, then only +1 later.
No no no, when you vacate someone they just get placed into a room in Hotel Utopia. Upon reading the description there's a chance that when you put them back to work, you'll get your u back or more. At least I think that's what it means.
Yikes. My land discount has been cut from 50% to around 32%, taking my next upgrade cost from 160M to over 200M. If you've got cash saved up for more land, I'd recommend you level up before upgrading to latest. Cost of a surprise has gone from 2M at the Gene Pool to 4M at the Animal Centre, which makes that a lot less attractive. My Coins per Second has dropped from 2337 to just over 2000 as new people have been added to my existing buildings and I've lost my multipliers. On the plus side, hearts seem to fill a bit faster. :/
Thanks. But the system is bugged. I vacated a Firefighter, then deleted his house, and now I am unable to return him to the Fire Station. The button is grayed out. At the same time, the slot for Firefighter job in Fire Station is opened. Update: the way to fix this is: 1) Clear all rooms in Hotel Utopia 2) Place all other workers from bugged building in Hotel 3) Build a copy of a bugged building 4) Delete old building (bye-bye to utopium upgrades) 5) Relocate all the workers to new building Also, a button that supposed to return a worker to his original job is not working at all.
I had that. Unallocate the fireman that is in the fire station (make a note of his name) and then allocate the one in the hotel (the one with the other name!) Then you can allocate the remaining fireman.
If posts have been deleted for whatever reason they still occupy "space" in the pages count. That's why you still see "pages." Great update. Been only playing a few minutes but its safe to say - if you haven't played Pixel People this morning, you haven't played Pixel People! Excited for the missions - finally something to do with all my cats!
