An end to Tiny Tower wouldn't really fit, because there's no progression in it. There's no challenge to these "games." it's simply based on how much time you wish to put into them. There's no real skill or growth to begin with -you're still just tapping your screen - so why have it end? I think the backlash against them is that people get too addicted to these apps, so they play them nonstop at first, then feel resentful when they hit a wall, or run out of new stuff to unlock, and are forced to wait. The nice thing about an "infinite game" is that you can just put it away for a few weeks, months, whatever, then pick it back up and get right back into it. It's not like you'll be rusty after all that time off.
I finally captured this weird mechanic glitch which ruined the Valentine's Day update for many of us. I launched the app and received a message about new combo. Needless to say, my excitement was premature
Over a week now and still no fix to the valentines bug, simply ridiculous. We were a told a patch had been submitted but I am beginning to get the feeling we are being fobbed off, great shame because its a great game that I have supported with many IAPs. Oh well.....
The developers stated its on Apple, the overlord queue. They can't rush that. It's was nice that Lamba Mu tried something special for valentines, and it did not work out for some. I praise the developers for pushing out content on such a fast schedule, they just released the game and pushed for valentines special.
Admirable maybe but completely frustrating none the less. As for the patch being submitted, I don't buy it.
I started to use the loophole-option via the Courthouse/Law Firm yesterday. Which requires you to pay 40 Utopium for Expansion. I think it's easier to earn 40 Utopium than those huge amounts of coins. I did pay for some Utopium yesterday, altough I lost it because of the iOS 6.1.2 update. Something with backups, iCloud not backing-up prior to the update proces and loading a back-up prior to the Utopium-purchase. After contacting the dev's I am now contacting Apple for this. I requested a refund, because all the gameprogress after the back-up (also influenced by the Utopium-purchase) is lost too.
Well, I levelled up with coins and lost 400 land . You'll see on the screenshot that I have 415 land used but only 15 available. I cannot build anything more as I don't have enough land. Anybody else have this?
I just looked through the game's code for expansion upgrades, and level 38 is coded wrong. A few lines are out of order and written incorrectly. Hopefully they fix this with the next update. However, if anyone has iFile I can tell you how to manually correct the mistake in the code before you reach level 38 (Too late for you SITS). Just PM me for the details.
Here are my results from 100 x Instant Surprise. I had 177 animals before I started, and needed 12 more to complete the collection. Type 5K - 28 50K - 8 2U - 8 5U - 2 A T1 - 27 A T2 - 15 A T3 - 7 A T4 - 5 I got 4 new Super Rare animals which was nice. Only 26 Utopium which seems low compared to others' results.

Type 5K - 28 (28% / 28%) Exactly what is coded. 50K - 8 (8% / 8%) Once again, exactly dead on. 2U - 8 (8% / 9%) Very close to the actual value. 5U - 2 (2% / 5%) Bad luck on this one A T1 - 27 (27% / 25%) Very close to the actual value. A T2 - 15 (15% / 15%) Matches perfectly with the coded values. A T3 - 7 (7% / 7%) Another perfect match. A T4 - 5 (5% / 3%) You beat the odds here my friend, very lucky. Basically you missed out on 17u, but got 4 more animals, 2 of which were Tier 4. Honestly I would be very happy with those results, 5u per rare animal is a really good trade. I would pay 200u to get my last rare animal. Thank you very much for recording your results, you have helped substantiate the results that Myself and Tukkun have posted.
Thanks for expanding the analysis. Good stuff. I currently have 237 animals and need 5 more super rares to complete the collection. Sounds like it may be a while before that happens. I am probably going to buy another 100 Instant Surprises later tonight (or tomorrow) to see if I can get lucky.
What's this bug and patch everyones talking about? My wife's on 150/155 and we cant figure out how to unlock the last 5.
That's the bug for some fill up the hearts and you will get a gene and it gets the last 5 but some have had problems
