I thought the 25 limit includes any Utopium you get from heart research, trees, and the utopium mine.
I have the same issue. I've gotten up to 154/155, but can't progress any further. The mutant gene won't unlock for me. I've had a blast with this game otherwise. Was glad to throw some IAP dollars at you.
I gave this game 2 stars and only got 1u from the Arcade. Anyone else get more for a higher rating? Seems like that would be against Apple's policies....
I got the mutant gene but am stuck on 150/155 with nothing left to splice. Is the mutant the new one or is there another I should be seeing?
The gene you need to get the last 5 jobs is Spoiler the Romantic , it is supposed to show up in a heart surprise and it goes in the Special category of genes just like Spoiler the Dreamer, Salesman, Explorer, and Mutant , a.k.a. it's a gene that you can't actually create or see on the jobs list.
Unfortunately that probably means you won't get it, at least not before the next patch. It seems that if you didn't get the new gene in the very first Surprise that you got after you updated, then you won't get it at all. LambdaMu said that they are working on a patch for this issue. It seems to be affecting about 30-50% of the people on this board, and so far we have no idea what causes this issue or how to prevent it from happening.
How many workers to fully staff the city? I'm getting 222, if it's higher then I must have an empty building I haven't noticed.
It's 225 after the latest additions (and assuming no duplicate buildings). On a related note, your max CPS is 1796 with one of every building, fully staffed.
When will we be getting this latest patch?? I hope its soon as i have all the jobs done upto now and all buildings full Just spent loads on Utopium packs too lol, spent over £10 before the sale and just spent £16 on 2000u just now lol :/ first game i have majorly spent money for IAP for so it must be good lol
Thanks a lot, now the hunt for the abandoned building begins! I grouped all my buildings so everything but residences fits on one screen, it's a total mess.
Zoom in and look for any building that doesn't have a "coin counter" above it. If it's fully staffed, the text will be in green; if it's partially staffed, the text will be white; if it's completely unstaffed, there will be no counter.
I had already done that, turned out that the missing building was Spoiler Ninja HQ which I had placed with my parks and trees so it just blended in, it just looks like a square of grass with a tree stump in the middle. Whoops!
Went poking through the games files, found some interesting things. Not sure if i am allow to post what i found though. Generally speaking, I found 2 unused buildings, 8 unused jobs, and a few other notable things. Anyone know if it goes against Touch Arcade's TOS to post the details? I don't want to get modded again.
Tl;dr - This game is nearly unplayable after level 7 without paying real money. OR risk losing your sanity to an endless badgering of poking things. I played this until having gotten around 32 jobs and then suddenly getting to level 7 the game rushed amazingly to a plodding pace. Rather than the earlier glee of uncovering new jobs and opening new prize boxes, suddenly hold-clicking on hearts and frenetic clicking on trees seemed like pocket change, in an effort to reach almost half a million coins. Land quickly shut down, with the tiny 80 squares allotted until you paid the bill for more land, and I started seeing myself paying the hard earned U currency in begging the Astro Church for divine interventions for more land, when all I really wanted to do was plant gardens and beautify the world my citizens were enjoying. And then I saw the light - the game would open up her possibilities to me in the way the game was designed if only I forked over hard earned real cash to the Company. That be True Divine Intervention. I had high hopes, but I would only allow my citizens to have one God, so with sadness in my heart I let my children go. Perhaps one day I will see them again, in another life...
Hey guys, my family's obsessed with this game at the moment. But. A little gunshy over the update, They don't use icloud at all but I'm guessing its still perfectly fine to update yeah? Sorry for the stupid question but my wife in particular is really worried that she's going to lose her save game.
I'm at 150/155. Is special profession MUST appear from special delivery ASAP, or is there a very little chance it will appear? I just spent 20M in gene pool, but got 5k coins most of the time. Animals is different story. I had hopes that once you complete first page, animals from it will stop appearing. But no, first page is complete, and I just got yet another doggie. Even when blindly poking 64 spots with 1/2 just to get non-animal it will take from about 700 attempts (average). Filling 10 harts/day it will take over 2 months! But with this uneven distribution it will take insane amount of attempts. Is there a trick?
