Ok think I know what it is now how to make it. Geez leveling up is a hassle but in a good way though. What's the max upgrade of land you can do?
It's OVER 9000! But seriously, I am pretty sure it's unlimited. Well perhaps not unlimited, but I think that you would have trouble running the game (with thousands of buildings) before you will actually hit any sort of hard-coded limit.
Question I see an achievement for getting a suprise in the gene pool...i have 89 people discovered and i'm just not sure i understand what the achievement is? Can someone explain this to me please. Thanks
Just a minor nit-pick, but how about letting us restart buildings by clicking directly on the lightning bolt icon? Having to accurately touch a point that's a variable distance below the icon (and often isn't visible) gets a little frustrating when refreshing a large block of buildings quickly.
Spoiler Once you create a Geneticist (Doctor + Scientist) you'll get the Gene Pool building. At the Gene Pool you can pay coins to instantly fill all hearts and get a "Quick Surprise".
Greetings Mayors! As some of you have already noticed, the underlying fabric of your town system has been updated to improve your experience. This first edition of Utopia Corp's constant maintenance and support includes a small number of enhancements listed below. Do note most of these updates will address new Mayors and the difficulties they face arriving and settling into their respective Utopias. 1. Hiccups faced by Mayors during instructional phases (tutorial) of the game have been ironed out, eliminating the possibility of a fatal crash landing into Utopia. The meat of the update is in fact in this section with adjustments to user interface and technical redundancies. Experienced Mayors will be unaffected and might find these corrections trivial. (Tutorial Updates) 2. A few malfunctions have been ironed out, most importantly one where Special Features of a building were incorrectly being disabled when a duplicate of the building was deleted. (REALLY minor bug fixes) Again, as you can see, this is mostly system maintenance as Project Utopia is still in its early days. Progress has been astounding and Utopia Corp. is optimistic about the future of rebuilding humanity. Early feedback and research based on recent results suggests that there might be more gene combinations possible than those projected by the initial studies... provided the necessary missing links can be found. Rumor has it that Utopian scientists are very close to a genetic breakthrough, in the ballpark of another week or so. We would LOVE to tell you what this is about, but due to non-disclosure commitments within the scientific community, it appears that this new content must remain a 'surprise'. Thank you for your ceaseless efforts, Utopia Corp. Press Office
Anyone else think that the Utopia Corp. Press Office sounds like Clap Trap? That's the voice I have in my head when reading their awesome posts!
I imagine Lambdamu talking with a "moon accent" like Colonel Tushfinger... http://youtu.be/7ywpkdIo88c
So there's an update now, but the super-annoying "Return to Towncenter?" is still in? Hasn't this been mentioned enough already? When would this EVER be useful?
How often are you experiencing this, and what are you doing to cause the message to pop up so often? I have not had any issue whatsoever with the "Return to Towncenter" message.
Does the update not do anything about how huge a battery drain this is? It's pretty much the game's biggest flaw right now.
So, the current update: -Introduces Ads -Introduces a few bugs I think I'll hold off until next week to update.
Only different thing I notice about this "update", It's the ads in the front page. I shouldn't have updated. SMH When is the SFX getting fixed or am I the only one with this problem? Everytime I open the game the SFX are on, I keep turning them off, Then when I re-open the app, They're on again. Gets annoying after a bit...
Both bugs I reported are still present as of the patch. To reiterate - restoring purchases before the industrialist is spawned prevents the achievement and utopian being claimed for exploring the iap option Spawning the reporter has eaten a land tile but no building is present, interestingly the weather reporter has spawned the building, but there's still one tile too many being eaten due to the reporter bug Please fix!
Yep, the later has been fix. The former will require some additional work. It's on the list and we'll put it in the patch after the next.
