Look in the city hall. It has a total, and it also totals how many residences you have. I think I have my answer. Thanks though.

Edit: or maybe that number is just for how many residences you have occupied. Hm. This is getting tricky.

That number is for how many people you have housed / how many you can have housed with current houses.

Mine is currently 129/134. I have 128 clones housed, one in the arrival centre an waiting for another 5 to turn up to fill my most recently built house.

    Hope that makes sense...

Hehe. The little touches in this game are top notch, from the news ticker headlines to the punny names of each clone and the little sayings under each one. The System Admin's quote is ASCII code in binary that spells out the word

Perfect sense. I suspected that on second inspection of those stats in the town hall. Well I will just continue the quest for a full city without too much planning then. My goal was to try and anticipate how many land expansions I might need but I will plug on.

The Town Hall basically shows How many clones have jobs / How many clones you can house.

So 110/132 would mean that you have assigned jobs to 110 clones and you have housing for 132 total. The number of Residences is simply the total number of houses that you have built. If you divide the total number of clones that you have housing for by the number of residences, you can see how efficiently you have built housing. The closer that number is to 6, the better you have done.

My clones per house average is 4.22

If you want an even more accurate view of how efficient your homes are, then divide total available clones by the number of land spaces that your homes occupy. Once again, closer to 6 the better.

My clones per land average is 3.23

Technically you can never achieve a perfect 6 because the game starts you with 2 Rocky Mansions. But a 5.9 is possible with a severe amount of patience and diligence, just see my strategy on page 66 of this thread. But I warn you, playing that way RUINS the game, just ask Machiknight.

Are Time Discounts only applied before you start building something?

For example, say a building would normally take 24 hours to build, but I have a 10% Time Discount so it starts at 21H 36M, but 6 hours later while it is still being constructed I add enough decor to add 10% more to my Time Discount giving me a total of a 20% Time Discount.

How does that affect the building being constructed?

    A) 15H 36M left, no change.
    B) 13H 12M left, the extra 10% was taken off of the base time.
    C) 14H 2M left, the extra 10% was taken off of the remaining time.

    Dumb question

Is there a way to get the people out of a building / house? I built two universities and filled them up on accident and they take up 3 spaces. I'd like to delete one of them because it's not really cost efficient cps-wise but i can't delete the people to delete the building...if this is how it was designed thats ok i was just wondering if i was missing something...btw freaking awesome game guys

If the people have an alternate job they can be reassigned. But to just up and move them, no.

I am closing in! I am at 147 jobs and have only 12 jobs left to fill all the buildings I have. I don't think I need anymore NEW buildings at this point, but from what I read here maybe the last one needs its own place.

Now, to fill all the silly ANIMALS! I am only about half to 2/3rds complete there. Now I kind of wish all the times I was psyched I was awarded coins or utopia those were new animals instead! I will be collecting hearts for awhile it seems.

Unfortunately for you, the University is the ONLY place that the Physicist and the Philosopher can work, so you can't move them anywhere. You can move the Mathematician to a Business Center or Tech Support, but that wouldn't really help you that much. Looks like your stuck with that University until Lambda Mu decides to add the ability to either delete clones or change their jobs.

That one is still my favorite too. My second favorite one is the Coroner:

You actually counted 159 used spaces? I have 187/190 land used, and there is no way that I am going to count them by hand just to make sure.

You can get a refund though.

You can get a refund for the IAP, then buy it again for your new game? Contact Apple in the usual way, tell them what happened. I've had purchases for consumable IAP refunded in the past when I've had problems with games stopping working/losing progress.

I actually did. Because my city design is set up so every block is a neat and tidy 2x2 square, it makes it very easy to figure out if there's something awry.

Just got this and loving it so far....I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the previous 70 odd pages but I've not found it so could anyone tell me how you get the dreamer please? There seem to be a lot of jobs that require them but I can't work out who I need to combine to get it. Thanks in advance.....

I love this game but it's gotten REALLY slow. I decided to buy the double time IAP which will hopefully help out but I won't buy consumables. I hope I can stick this out and finish the game, I have around 101 jobs now but the next level up requires 39 million coins! Trying to save my 90 utopium for future leveling up, the 39 million will probably be the last level up I can buy with coins.

Looks like right now I can make about 1 million by leaving the game alone for a couple hours, maybe I do have the patience to do this.

I loved this game for a while but it is eventually a grind, my first couple of hours were ace though ! Well worth a dabble!
