Land expansion spoilers: Spoiler I guess that I is 20 million and land expansion stops doubling between level 13 and 14. I just had upgraded my decor for 50% bonus (10 at 2 spirit and 10 at 3) So level 13th expansion was at 40m/2=20m level 14 expansion os at 60m/2=30m so not double level 13 edit: upload problem on the iPad app, 2 next post with the screenshots prices of the 13th and 14th level, sorry for the triple post
Thanks for that. I'll watch out for that step, and consider buying decor then (if I'm still playing by that point)! I'm up to 150 land and don't seem to have hit it yet, so as yet I'm not getting any value. Just seen vicsark's posts above - looks like I'm about to hit that point!
anyone else having problems getting Game Center to see this game? GC sees that I've installed it and I can launch the game through GC, but it nevers says Welcome Back ingame or awards achievements. Tried reinstalling.
When you reach the point that land expansion costs 40million, do you want a 50% reduction so you only need to earn 20million instead? I do. Coz it saves me two extra days of tippity-tap. The difference in coin harvesting times between full price and 50% discount at early levels is only a matter of minutes vs. days at level 13+. Of course there is no point in getting 50% reduction at earlier levels. That is exactly what I have pointed out. Decor isn't useless. Just build it up slowly at the beginning where it matters less and by the time you need it you'll max it out. This is roughly what I do and I can expand to 150 land within 2 days of playtime, YMMV. Level 1 Carpark starts you with 2 spirit for free. No need to buy decor yet. Cost: 0u Disc: 2% Land: 0 Levels 2-5 Buy 1 x 4u decor/lvl. Save utopium for Atomic Cottages. 9 land free/lvl Cost: 16u Disc: 12% Land: 1/lvl (4) Levels 6-11 Buy two 4u decor/lvl. Buy Atomic Cottages when available. 8 land free/lvl Cost: 48u Disc: 36% Land: 2/lvl (12) Total Cost: 64u Disc: 50% Land: 16 So if you save that 64u instead, how many expansions can it buy you? One. With leftovers for some shiny towers. Now let's say the 16 land saved is also worth another level. By avoiding decor you have gained the equivalent of 2 levels and 4 Shiny Towers. But without the discounts along the way, it would take you about a day extra to reach level 15 than if you had max discount by that point. Max discount doesn't just cut costs in half, it halves the time you need to spend on the game. 5min vs 10mins is meaningless at early levels, yes. 4h vs 8h means a lot if you have to spread those hours out over a couple of days. You might make an argument for using utopium for expansion, but then you have to check in and tap trees and heart rewards constantly. Why waste utopium a few levels earlier than if you had only used coins and discounts? And because I can still level up with coins for a few more levels, I can afford to spend some utopium on building upgrades. Longer timers = less checking in. If there were days I could only check in twice to restart everything, I'd still make coins towards my next level up. If I were relying purely on utopium at that point and I didn't have a couple of hours to tap trees and heart rewards each day, I'd be trapped on that level until I could. It's all swings and roundabouts really. Depending on your playstyle you could go either way and they're both quite balanced. I prefer a more hands-off experience with short bursts of play throughout the day. If you had nothing to do for hours on end but sit there and tap for rewards, then you might choose to forgo decor and just rely on utopium. To each his own.

So I did a few more tests and found that this game does not sync from the cloud like it says. It will the very first time after it installs, but after that it just puts the local data to the cloud. I finally got my ipad to sync with my iphone data last night by reinstalling the app. When it first loaded up it pulled the data from the iphone. This morning I then tried playing on my iphone but the data on the icloud from my ipad never loaded up. Instead it loaded local data (Yes, the icloud setting is set to 'yes') and replaced the ipad icloud data with the iphone data. I then reinstalled the app on the iphone and it then was able to sync the ipad data from the cloud. So it seems the only way to actually play on both the ipad and iphone is to reinstall the app every time. Which is disappointing because the loading message made it seem like this could be played on both. Hopefully we will be able to in a later update.
Pretty sure it only backs up to icloud each night when you have th phone plugged in, if you want to keep swapping from device you need to actually go into settings and keep updating your icloud backup that way seems to work for me rather than deleting/reinstalling the app -theres a bug going around on twitter that if you swipe the notifications menu up and down it speeds up processes?? didnt work anyway lol
Same here. It did sync ok only once after the night so I guess it's also a matter of time. Ivan said they were pushing iCloud data every 30 sec, so it could get jammy after a while. That's one of the important updates to work on imho. Some games do it ok, but I know it can get messy, not an easy feature. Also, if you bought the time doubler IAP, don't forget to restore purchases after a reinstall On another matter, if Ivan is listening, I got a question about the 25U max per day from trees: Is the limit on the last 24 hours, or on a given day 00:00 to 23:59 ? It would be nice to have a popup saying we're at the max. Thks
Not really, as others have stated, you can buy 10 land for 40u at the Law Firm. 40/10 = 4u per land at Law Firm vs. 8u per land at the Church.
I wish I had written down the numbers between levels. Coupled with I have different discounts each time too. It's still rising at level 19 -- it's 80 mil and I have a 50% discount.
Spoiler assuming the increment is fixed at 20m, with 50% discount, you add 10m a level 13 : 20m 14: 30m 15: 40m 16: 50m 17: 60m 18: 70m 19: 80m I guess we figured that one out I's good news it doesn't double at each level. So coins don't become totally irrelevant. And it matters to focus on a good cash flow from upgrading the longer timeframe buildings. I'll look into how much time it takes me to go to 30m from scratch with 800 cps and no intensive playing.
