No problem! Also, for anyone not aware, when a heart is available the line of heart at the top blinks red and you can click it to instantly go to the heart.
@LambdaMu I would gladly pay another 0.99 for an additional double time if there was one available... Hint hint
We'll look into this. Will probably have to patch it. As for the heart scaling thing, we have plans for something entirely different.
Well I played this since Wednesday night when it came out and it was alot of fun at first. I am at land lv 11 i believe and its 9 mil to upgrade.... I deleted the game but it was fun while it lasted.
I hope that something "entirely different" doesn't affect the fixed hearts that we already have purchased. As for requests: I'd also appreciate if the max utopium given by trees daily was increased a bit. I've only bought the 0.99 double-time IAP because I'm not into premium currency-IAP. Maybe you could also double the daily utopiums to 50 for the ones who have bought that IAP? Just a suggestion. Can you also give the option to disable the message of "go back to city center?" It has never appeared on a useful moment. Clicking on the flashing hearts is much more useful. That's my "city center" Bug report (maybe already reported) If you enter the game and exit many times, you get to a moment where the game says "no savegame found in icloud. Reloading" (or something like that) every few seconds. The only solution is to force close the app from the multi-task bar and reopen. You don't lose any progress, it just seems a memory leak after too many task changes.
No problem regarding utopium, it was just a suggestion/personal feeling. Anyway, one question: do the utopiums achieved by filling heart bars have a daily maximum? If so, which one is it? Also, here's a bug report from an edit to my previous post which I think you didn't see because you were faster answering my post than I was editing it If you enter the game and exit many times, you get to a moment where the game says "no savegame found in icloud. Reloading" (or something like that) every few seconds. The only solution is to force close the app from the multi-task bar and reopen. You don't lose any progress, it just seems a memory leak after too many task changes.
The fixed heart system will not change, we have absolutely no plans for that. However, we want players to feel an increase in the value of the Hearts system. again, no change in cost and function of the fixed heart system is planned. As for utopium, we think the general consensus is that we've given players enough avenues for utopium generation. we like the balance and have no plans to increase/decrease it at the moment. Coin usage is getting another look though. That being said, there is actually another coin sink in the game. But it's meant to be a late game sink. we believe that in time, people will gradually shift coins to that sink. Finally, the return to town hall ability came about when we notice a significant group of players getting lost in space. basically they would scroll infinitely away from the city (PP has infinite land-space) and wouldn't be able to find their way back. Hence, we made all empty spaces a "return to town hall" button. we're revamping this right now, hopefully in time for the first content patch.
Yeah, we've noticed that. have it on the "1001 things to do for PP" list. but won't be ready anytime soon with that. Fun fact of the day: Pixel People has clocked up 50 years of play time over the last 3 days. Should hit a century very very soon!
Bug report: I can't delete residential buildings even with empty replacements available. I also can't delete businesses even if they're empty of workers. I can delete roads, trees and decors fine. Yes I have the building firm.
Residences need to be fully empty to be deleted. Buildings need to be fully empty and must be a duplicate. We're working on improving this function asap.
How do I transfer residents from one house to another? It's now gotten to a point where it costs me 5M coins in order to upgrade 10 land... NOT feasible in the long run.
That's because as a freemium game the gameplay has been designed to annoy you into giving them money. That's why freemium games are only fun for a couple of days really, and why the whole system is destined to sour a lot of potentially great games as the design focus is eventually ALWAYS "how can we eventually annoy them enough to get a few to pay us?"
That only works IF you have enough trees. My first game used 55 land on the first 3 housing types so I didn't spend any utopium there. But I didn't have a ton of utopium because I didn't plant any trees beyond the few you start with. The heart rewards that game were also heavily skewed in favour of animals and coins, rarely any utopium (but I did get the 50k a few times so that helped). The once or twice I did get utopium it was only 2u. So with no utopium supply, the legal loophole was a no-go and the only option was to wait 2.5 days to rack up the 20m I needed for the next upgrade. This isn't a gripe btw, just pointing it out fwiw as perhaps this scenario never played out in your testing. I'll try to save the game now by planting more trees but I'll reach 30m before I ever get 40u for the next expansion. I've never had more than 25u I started with. I'm interested to see if the game is actually salvageable at this point, or whether one is forced to either restart or purchase some IAP to fix any mistakes made early-game. Are you referring to the Spoiler Gene Pool heart accelerator ? Perhaps make it a double-tap or two-finger swipe?

One small request: It'd be useful if when you clicked on a tree it said MAXIMUM DAILY AMOUNT: #/25. # being of course the amount you've made that day.
The heart of the matter, I think, is it's extremely difficult for a "twice a day for five minutes" player to get anywhere after a certain amount of time. Most 'Ville games allow you to set long-term gains for your buildings (or invest in several that are designed for payoffs every 8, 12 or 24 hours). Without Utonium, the longest-duration building fizzles out after two hours, and most only last about ten minutes. You're guaranteed one utonium a day, but you need to invest a fair amount of time to get much through hearts or trees. And if you've gotten yourself stuck at a point where you have no more land or population, most players will get bored with just tree and house clicking because they can't splice any more genes. Ah, well. Enough whining. No formula is perfect, and the game's still young. I'm sure they'll smooth out the wrinkles over time, and I'm EQUALLY sure Zynga will probably still the gene-splicing formula and pretend it's their own creation in some game a few months down the line ...
