How do I pay for the Romantic gene unlock? It says I either need to wait til February or pay 25u but I don't see any sort of unlock button in the gene pool. I'm sort of stuck until I can use that gene to unlock combos that help to unlock other genes via missions.
Thanks, Ivan. I was confused because I remembered that in earlier iterations of the game, I could go to the Gene Pool and unlock stuff from there. Event Center construction underway!
Just discovered this myself. After getting Dancer from Santa, I rejoiced that my set was finally complete. Then I went in to the mission only to discover "Dancer" was still missing. Annoyed, I cursed the game until I noticed the other Dancer and no Blitzen. So my top right "Dancer" slot is still empty. More Santa and Reindeer Games for me.
? about "Ending Winter" When I complete the "Deer Santa" mission to get the new gene, it also ends winter, correct? And from what I've read here, I can make it winter again using hearts at the Event Center or somewhere, right? So, does that mean I need to activate winter to play Whack a Grump each day, and every 4 hours if I want Santa to visit, and any time I want to access the winter-themed missions?
Finally got the last reindeer and ended winter. Apparently winter was causing a lot of lag on my device. (iPhone 5 with an admittedly gigantic city).
To be completely honest, I stopped playing right after the xmas update. I didn't care for all of the trading with friends. I still don't have any reindeer at all. Now I just approve membership for the facebook group, but I no longer play.
Yea me neither. I got a little excited when they removed the 2 billion cap so I could start hoarding, but got bored fast. Game takes too long to get in and out of so it isn't something I could quickly check either. Still holding on though to see what their new update has in store. Hopefully less social crap as their visiting system takes forever as well.

Downloading now...I really hope there are performance improvements. The game has gotten laggier on my iphone 5 every patch.
Pretty big update in terms of new clones! I'm continuing to love the core gameplay of finding the clever combinations, clever descriptions, and cute graphics.
Bug report / question - I spliced some new people, sent them to altar for upgrades, sent them to hotel, turned the app off and back on, and they're gone from the hotel. ???
It happens even if I don't send the clone to the altar first. Is this intentional, no longer allowing newly spliced clones to go to the hotel?
only when you turn the app off while they're in the hotel? is regular hotel movement working for you?
