The cash crunch hasn't really happened to me yet, I usually just leave the toy (sorry, I can't call this a game) running in the background when I don't have enough cash and check in a few hours later to tap all the icons again. I'm at 130 land right now. After you unlock the Shiny Towers just focus on building more of those, the devs want you to take your leisurely time at that point as well since those take nearly a day to build.
It's only going to get worse!. Right now I'm at a point where the game is asking 50,000,000 coins for the next land upgrade and that's at a 50% discount! I have about 10million but it will take forever to get to 50! I do however have about 120 characters unlocked. I'm at a point where I want to unlock them all but it's going to be a long grind.
well my technique right now is to fill up the jobs on buildings rather than unlocking every character so that i can gain twice the amount due to the bank...not sure if this a good technique but im on 96 out of 100 land so im not sure about what will happen to me further on the game
Another question for Ivan@LambdaMu or Lambdamu... I've seen one or two other members ask or suggest this, but is there any plan on adding landscape orientation support?
Law Firm's pretty much the only way, eventually. Your Decor will all turn into Trees as Money and CPS become obsolete - it's all about getting as much Utonium as you can each day. I have 150 Land right now, the next one costs 20 million even with a full discount, and I'm stuck at 615 CPS with little housing space left - I can probably bump it up a little higher by completing another building or two, but not much. If I could somehow get that maximum 615 CPS all day without ever needing to recharge a single building, that'd be about 2.2 million per hour. (In reality, if I check hourly to refresh all the buildings, I get about half that.) This is probably the last land upgrade I can even THINK about buying before it all becomes a pure Utonium-based game. ---------- Actually, they probably hope you'll spend TEN Utonium for a Shiny Tower. Six to construct it, and four to "hurry up" and instantly complete it regardless of how many hours remain.
My Land space is at 190 for now... But I'm not sure how I will be able to upgrade at this point. I need utonium! The 50mil seems doable but the housing is getting tough.i may have to do some IAP, especially since the dev has provided me with some entertainment. May as well compensate them.
Are you able to delete/demolish apartments or houses when there are people in them, I want to upgrade all my houses to Shiny Towers?
At least it has iCloud sync which helps when I'm on the go (I'm playing on iPad). I have found that iCloud sync can be a bit touchy with this game.
Not a waste of utonium when you average 30 per day... It's land efficient. I'm just disappointed we can't relocate residents.
So I've started playing the game on my iPad and the town is there but not on my iPhone 4S. I think ultimately the go back to town center button isn't working on the iPhone. I tried it on my iPad and magically my town appeared again!
There is a delete button but it doesn't work, need to get rid of the houses that are taking up too much space. Needs to be an update to relocate your residents surely.
Am I the only schmuck here who likes this game just for the collecting and unlocking aspect? I'm not interested in town building at all, I just do it coz there's nothing else to do while I wait for enough coins to do my next land upgrade, so that I can unlock more clones. Gotta catch 'em all! I got stuck at 150 land on my iPhone, need 20 million coins for the next expansion so I started a new local game on my iPad in the meantime. Doing things differently this time. Planting more trees earlier on and spending Utonium on more land-efficient housing. I think I built too many Rocky Mansions the first time coz I was impatient to unlock more clones and I ran out of land quick, and I had no trees so no U production to take advantage of the law firm. I'd say, don't go crazy trying to fill up every single building with workers just coz you have a bank. Some buildings aren't worth it coz their multiplier is 1 and they only need 2-3 workers with 1-2cps. Even when it's fully staffed it may be making less cps than another building with a higher multipler and only 1 staff. So check those stats. This time I'm also not going to bother with filling buildings until I have unlocked all the workers that it needs and the multiplier justifies making extra clones with the same job. So far the best cps buildings for me are the tavern and the pharmacy. Stadium and city square are good but need more space so not that efficient.
