Some questions after upgrading to 1.52: 1. I went back to the secret animal page to re-splice the ones I used up, so that I'd have quantity 1 for all of them. I got a message that said: Spoiler Secret Reward: Astroglass Building . Sounds great, but how and where do I get that? 2. How do you make the Spoiler Ministry of Hope light up ? I've seen that in some screen shots posted here, but mine is still inactive. Thanks!
you can go to page 366 of this forum for secret formulas. I haven't updated to 1.5.2 yet and prob won't till there's another patch. Anyway, I agree that there isn't much exciting gameplay for players who already have large amounts of cps and utopium stocked up. They'll just breeze through any update within a day or two! One idea is to ban duplicates of buildings. That seems to be the only way I can think of so far to make every update last a month or two. After all these facebook integration issues are sorted out, I guess an update with new clones each time is all we need. BUT the duplicates need to go......unless there's another idea out there to make the game last for everybody
That doesn't make a difference. I have a duplicate-free town and I got all the new clones, buildings and animals in a couple of days. The two things (for me) that will make this update last a bit longer is the new shoreline decor (I'm sure I'll spend hours rearranging my town for aesthetic reasons) and collecting mutopium for the OCD achievement. So that's perhaps a suggestion for Ivan and the team: add many more terrain options so that we can just play around with town design after all the puzzles have been solved. I'd like to see a bridge square for when my roads intersect waterways, a two-square freeway to complement the narrow roads, etc.
This is beyond frustrating - I still cannot get into the game with my old town. I haven't been able to get into it at all for 4-5 (or more) days now. I tried the back-up and reinstall steps. I'll bring in the back-up file and then open the app and it's the new/bare town. When I go back into iExplorer, the backed-up file is gone and the smaller file is back. I've tried it several times.
This patch made it worse, for me. Still crashing when trying to use any social feature, and now, it also freezes when I try to restore purchases, so I can't use my Workaholic feature at all. Two thumbs down.
I was not connected to the server (it wouldn't connect) and then I tried pressing the button to connect and then it crashed. I have not been able to get past the splash screen since, it just crashes, even when I exit the program from the multi-task bar, shut off the phone totally and restart. It was working online with 1.50, I skipped 1.51 and somehow it automatically updated to 1.52. I was able to get on for a few minutes, but I stupidly clicked the reconnect button and haven't been able to play since. It's probably a good thing since I can't stop playing this addictive game, but seriously, I need my Pixel People fix...
I too, stupidly tried connecting to Facebook again after latest update now my town starts all over again. Any suggestions what I should do? Complete the tutorial and restore updates?
Okay I completed the tutorial. Anyway I tried deleting my account hoping that might somehow fix the problem but NO. My utopia now is back to waaaay at the beginning. I need help. Otherwise I am done with this game. Too many major bugs and crashes which I do not think should be forgiven that easily. I've always thought companies qc their games and updates each time before they go ahead and submit them up. But it seems like recently these guys are just tweaking whatever they think works and submit them up without properly checking to ensure things work fine. Idk. I need my city back.
The update fixed my game, I'm able to get paste the title screen and connect to FB. Though, I don't have any friends to begin with, everything else is working fine and I solely hope it stays this way.
Information i got out of lambdamu, apparently their support staffs are running full steam for several days now . For those experiencing crash on Load Screen (after upgrading to 1.52), - send your save files (both of them) to lambdamu support. - Indicate what previous version you were on. - Indicate what device you were playing on (iphone3,3s,4,4s,5,ipad,2,3,4). - Indicate whether you synced using your FB before, if yes, provide them your email add thats associated to the fb account. - Indicate whether you were logged in or logged out the last time u exited the game. Also try the following before sending in support mail: - upgrade to 1.52 - try entering the game in airplane mode (no idea why) - try clearing background task before running PP (memory over-usage) - reinstalling your game (AFTER MAKING A BACK UP OF YOUR SAVE FILE) Providing as much details as possible will help them out.
same here. I really believed that the update could solve the facebook problem. Now I don't even want to see pixel people icon on my iPad.
Same here. First time ever i lost my city. Updated to 1.52, i conected to fb, and voila, everything is gone. What to do ? (I never deleted the app, even when i couldn't play)
New patch! \o/ This Mayor is finally back online and everything seems to be working as it should. Thx Ivan and the rest of the crew for keeping us updated and working hard at fixing this! ^_^

Mayor Experience is our top priority and we would like to see each Utopian satisfied. Patch 1.52 was targetted at solving a problem for a LARGE number of Mayors, which was locking them out at the loading screen. We believe this has been addressed along with the other minor content related bugs that were causing crashes. We are still a smattering of reports however of the following nature: 1. Game crashes on load screen 2. Trade/Visit functions causing crashes Please do understand however that these are still rare (relatively) cases that we are trying to diagnose. We have zero internal cases of this nature (otherwise we would never launch with them) hence we need your support and cooperation in getting us as much data as possible pertaining to your issues. So, if there is anything still giving you major trouble in-game, please post here, and we will contact you as soon as you can. Otherwise you could also do us a HUGE favor by sending in your bug reports / details to [email protected] with the TOUCHARCADE: <USERNAME> <1.52> <PROBLEM> as the subject, and we will get back to you with priority.
