I've decided to engage in limited Gym building (more u efficient that clone upgrades, even if you get poor cps results) and limited clone upgrades (going to upgrade every clone in a building with a multiplier of 4 or more) until my city hits 25,000 cps pre-farm, and then I am going to declare it finished. Ish. For now. The point is, I've started tracking which set (1 2 or 3 cps) my newly spliced clones come from and will post it either when I have a good sample or am done splicing, whichever comes first. I would encourage others to track this as well so we can figure out what the odds are. (Unless someone already knows this because they've seen it in the game code and/or they're a developer. )
Not sure. We do know that if the game tries to launch while pinging the cloud, and the server is down, it becomes wonky. A pending update will fix this.
No possible workplace for Tattoo-Artist I'm on the update 1.51 and now have a Tattoo-Artist which has no possible workplaces to assign him to (empty "possible workplaces" list). I have the gas-station (with other people already assigned to) so there should be a possible workplace. When I go to the gas-station and tap on the empty slot (which is reserved for the tattoo-artist I think) the game crashes immediately. Does anyone else has such a problem? Maybe with other jobs?
Yes, known issues and have been reported. The Tattoo Artist has no place to go & the game crashes when trying to view "hints" on Garage, Gas Station, Lumber Mill & Space Admin.
I'm having the same problem too. Actually, I've been having this problem since the 1.51 update. Tried hard-resetting the phone and blocking and reactivating the app on fb. Still no success... I'm getting a bad case of withdrawal now, haha.
Glitch or am I being dumb? Ok, I understand the tattoo artist issue is being looked into, but when I go to the "hidden page" of my people list, I am still missing 3 clones. When I go the secret hideout, all the clones are listed as spliced. So what am I missing? I don't have any other missions that appear to unlock new formulas...
Spoilers in increasing spoilerness: Spoiler There are in fact three clones that are too secret for the secret hideout. Spoiler You might start by checking if any of your buildings are missing clones (other than the gas station, garage, space admin, and lumber mill, which are buggy). Spoiler You could also flip through ALL your clones to see if there are any new buildings where they can work. Ugh. Spoiler Or you could pick a gene and see if it leads to any new combinations. Below are a few of the genes that, erm, MIGHT, be involved in the clones you're missing: Spoiler Mutant Spoiler Historian Spoiler Lifeguard Spoiler Mayor Spoiler Fencer
Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one I guess... Emailed lambdamugames earlier this morn, still waiting for a reply. I just thought it was strange, since my game was working yesterday and all...
This is all nice, but what does a stringed instrument that's slightly larger than a violin have to do with anything?
Feature suggestions! Yeah, I know, we're a little busy with bugs, but I've been thinking about something. Visiting other people's cities feels more like visiting, well, suburbs. And I think a big part of the problem is that astroglass housing is so low-density. Sure, we're in space, so astroglass space is unlimited and free, and pollution from automobiles (which aren't on the roads anyway) can be pumped into the void, but all the same, I'd love to see some higher-density astroglass and some transit options. Maybe there could be footpaths that were narrower than roads and had flowers and trees on the sides (to still take up a tile) and some sort of subway stations or even mixed use housing, where one corner of the building had a little subway sign. Even my city, which religiously avoids using land on anything but buildings and crams buildings together as much as possible (unless that interferes with tapping key buildings, in which case they get spaced by things on astroglass) feels sprawl-ey. Especially when compared to, say, a SimCity 2000 city full of Arcos. This utopia is very 1970s Americana, and not at all the way futurists usually imagine a utopia. Which is fine, but it would be fun to have more variety!
Hi! Ivan - Thought I should mention that I have the latest update and when I click on the Gas Station, I have Tina Needle there, but the job description is gone. Also, if i click on her the game crasches. (Okay, not on the Ipad, but I think it crashed on the phone, when I click on her on the Ipad the job description is there) Not sure if this is reported already? One more thing, when I start the game on Ipad I sometimes get a extra zoomed out view of my city. It's great, but when I zoom in I cant zoom out that much again? Adding a pic. Aaand one extra more thing, why not have landscape mode available on Ipad? That with the extra zoomed out view would be awesome!
See previous responses; yes it has been reported and it will be fixed. The landscape mode will not be done (it's been suggested and discussed); and the zoom out option is being discussed and hopefully will be added.
