Again, don't delete the game. We've working through the weekend to get the servers back. But looks like a patch is needed in order to reduce the heavy load the game is having on our servers.
Oh no, I downloaded new update and then tried to connect to the network and I saw half my town disappear, I never had this problem. Scared, I exit out a and now I can't even get pass the starting screen. Okay, I see that many others are having similar issues, I'm not deleting this, and thanks Ivan for looking into this issue as we speak!
After getting back to playing this over the last few days I decided to buy the time doubler to support you guys. I figured it was the right thing to do. Well, I had done my usual round of turning my buildings on and quit. When I logged in this morning I'm stuck at the main menu and locked out of my town. I really hope you guys fix whatever the problem is so I can get back to having fun again.
Ivan, even with the update 1.51, I still see the 2 jobs (lumber and I forget the other at present) and selecting either still crashes the app. So thus this last update didn't remove those 2 jobs, as mentioned.
I just filled up a Tavern and I only get 84 instead of 168. So adding new buildings like Gym and getting them to their maximum may not be worth it, since it will require lots of Mu. It would be good to know which buildings generates the highest return with only 1 cps people.
My game constantly crashes every time I attempt a Trade at the Pet Store. Every. Single. Time. Any reason for this?
I noticed slow connections last night and turned off the cloud backup. Now I'm stuck at the splash screen.
Same here. I was commuting home from work and lost signal. Started playing offline, then tried to go online again once I got signal. I am stuck on the splash screen with no offline option. Only the bubble advertisements that look like they are stuttering/skipping animation. I did a quick test by starting fresh on another device (iPod), created the telephone building, login with the same fb account and got the same behavior (stuck on the splash screen after logging in). So this is more of a server side issue that needs to be fixed on their end. My save data is probably corrupted in the back end.
yeah I noticed that too (that's the pro). the con is that you can no longer manipulate the hearts inside the buildings anymore I have a couple of combinations (i.e. farmer + farmer) that I know for sure will give a yellow heart but I can no longer manipulate the heart to make it go to these specific combinations
OK, I caved. I stopped back in the game and decided to solve a couple of the secret jobs and then discovered the animal splicing. I hadn't noticed that when I looked into the game the first time. That's pretty cool Ivan, nice work. I must say, I also enjoy the levels added to the professions. Luckily, I had a ton of utopium so it was easy to stockpile lots of mutopium via the missions pretty quickly. I am still not going to use the facebook option though, so have a question for those visiting other people's (mayor's) towns: How do you harvest mutopium by visiting other towns? Also, is there any solution for those of us that have like 20X the necessary amount of spirit from stockpiling past decor? Do we get a Spoiler recycling center this time?
nah, no data corruption. it's server timed out. anyway, just another friendly reminder: don't delete the app. working our butts off to get a fix for the server issue. it will need a client update to reduce the load on our servers.
i mentioned a couple of posts ago you could switch the couple where the heart is at (with the help of the hotel) to a golden combination, and still get a golden heart. anyway i'm pretty sure the golden heart is pointless now because i got coins with full golden hearts quite a few times (i would say about 5x)
