Yep. Same here, no red 'x' appears, can open and pop the bubble ads but the game doesn't launch even if I leave it on the splash screen for 5 minutes+

Ivan, bug report (I think): So this is truly weird, but: Spoiler After splicing my last secret animal I got the Ministry of Hope. I then went to resplice the Oriental Dragon and Cerberus I had used because I wanted to have a full set of the secret animals (sue me), and each time I spliced one it gave me ANOTHER Ministry of Hope. I have three now. My theory is that each time you splice an animal, it checks for completeness status. It seems totally wrong, but the buildings are astroglass and they look awesome, so I'm inclined to keep them.
Well, depending on what future functionality they receive, if any, it could be either really beneficial or really detrimental to have multiple copies. Could you imagine having multiple Altars? I can only imagine the bugs that could occur. Be careful.
The question is, does the bug arise from the mere existence of the buildings or from trying to use them? In fact, I bet someone does have multiple Altars; it's a land hog but was tops in CPS per person. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone does / still does have more than one.
Made it worse Was psyched to see a patch to address the bugs. However it now won't connect to the servers at all, and takes a few minutes of a frozen splash screen to get into the game. Once in the game, clicking an open job slot crashes the app. Not every time, but nearly, so as to make the game pretty much unplayable. Congrats, went from just having broken online features to entirely broken. Shelving the game for a week and hoping it eventually gets fixed. Really poor showing on the release guys. Sorry, kept trying to cut you slack but this is just bad.

Ooh, just tried that and I had same issue. I think the problem is the Garage should not have a sixth slot. There were only five jobs at the Garage before the new patch IIRC. I haven't filled the fifth slot in the Garage yet, and tapping that shows the appropriate job that goes there, but a sixth slot has now appeared that crashes the app when tapped. On the plus side, the recurring phone tutorial has been fixed. Yay.
Well, I'm glad the IAP reset has been fixed. Oh and playing in airplane mode seems to load the fastest.
I just installed the patch. I don't use FB so not connected via that in case it makes a difference. Loading is slower now but it opens every time. But when i click on the button at the top to splice new secret animals, boom, crash every time. And splicing animals is pretty much all I have left to do now (not using the altar for now).
Just updated with the new update that patched the problems and my city is still gone, it just asks me to place a building down (doomsday clock) and I can't. Will I ever get my city back?
Milkmonger in 2 tiers Hi everyone..I've just checked my job list and noted something different about my milkmonger. I have 2 milkmongers, both girls, but 1 is earning 1 cps whilst the other is earning 2cps. Anyone experienced the same thing? Is this the 3 tier per character that is spoken about in the update list? Thing is I didn't send my milkmonger to the altar so I'm at a loss on how to get the 3 tiers per characters. Any pointers are much appreciated
