I would like to have a solid group of folks that will "engage" on a regular basis. I visited 10 cities today and only 2 had gifts.
Duplicates don't matter. You only need ONE of each job at level 3 to earn the OCD achievement. The job index only tracks the highest level of each job you have.
I too am considering cutting down to about 20-25 "Hardcore" players on my friends list (I already have a few names picked out )
For some reason (none of which I can think of) they removed the "Triple Finger Tap" function of going to grid point 0,0. Damn, that was where I put my forest for quick harvesting
Ivan - just updated. Every time I click on an open job slot, the game crashes. Example - Garage | click on sixth slot which is open | CRASH
Same here. Doubly frustrating as it seems like the Lumber Mill and Space Admin had new jobs added... Edit: And the Garage
Nope, me too. It's not frozen; I can get the other-game bubbles to float around but the game itself never starts. Restarting the app and rebooting the ipad didn't help.
In addition, the Tattoo Artists seems screwy. His job doesn't appear on the list and when I click on him it says "no new jobs" instead of having bubbles showing where he can work. Basically, as someone who's utopia was not lost, 1.51 is worse than 1.50 in every way.
Force quitting, reboot iphone/app, siwtching internet off/on, nothing worked so far. The X doesn't even appear. I noticed that it lags a lot. The bubble ad, is normally bubbling, but now it's moving a little, freezing, moving, freezing, like if it's loading something really heavy. EDIT : when internet is completely off, there's a message saying internet is weak and i won't be able to access internet gameplay or something. But i can't go farther than that.
I've noticed that it takes a significantly long time for the splash screen to finally go away and let me into the game after the update and I am playing on an iPod Touch 5g. Those of you saying that the game freezes at the splash screen and can't start the game, if you are playing on an older device there is a chance that you just aren't waiting long enough. As a simple test, can one of you just keep tapping the center of the splash screen for about a minute or 2? To see if it is simply extreme lag and not frozen. As I said, I am on the most current iPod Touch model and I need to tap the screen for 15-20 seconds before my town pops up. So I am saying that it is worth a try.
I tried to wait and randomly tap the screen for about 5-6 minutes, no luck. Additionnaly, i'm on Iphone 4s with all the most recent update. And it's practicly empty, it shouldnt be a memory problem.
I'm on a 4S. I open the app and get a message: "Timeout/Connection Lost." I click the red X... but nothing happens. EDIT: After a couple minutes my town loads.
It isn't. We're looking into it. PS: Game definitely loads if you managed to hit the X and it responds. I managed to replicate the problem as well. Something is wrong with our servers.
You just need to wait on the splash screen longer. I just tested my game 5 times in a row, and I had to wait between 1-2 minutes on the splash screen while taping the Red X occasionally. But it did load, and I am able to play OFFLINE. Online seems busted right now though
Thing is the red X doesn't even appear. I let the game open like that for 10 minuts now, tapping frequently, doesn't do a thing. I'm trying several things with itunes, sync and co. The thing to know is that my iphone was connected to my computer when i dled the update and ran the game.
i still havent got the achievement for completing 50 missions. reloaded and nothing. ive probably done between 2 and 3 hundred
