I had connection issues with FB which made the tutorial come up every time I opened the app. It was very annoying.
My completely random, completely unfounded, total guess for how you get the Spoiler Mermaid is you need to fill up your heart meter with golden hearts. Probably not true but Ivan has been promising something useful for the golden hearts.
Hi Ivan I load up the game, it sync with the cload and I enter the game and I get the animal trading tutorial come up. I skip through the txt and then return to origin (because the game starts u in the middle of space) I go to the pet store, a little hand is pointing to trade, I press it to show the trade window. I have no facebook friends with Pixel People so the window is empty. I close the window and play the game. The next time I boot the game, it syncs and I'm greeted by the animal trading tutorial again. I have an employee in the pet store and I've pressed the lightning bolt over it, but everytime i log into the game it gives me the tutorial and its annoying. Also everytime I enter the game I have to restore purchases (also annoying) Thanks
Hi Ivan and others ! First, congratulations for this game. It is by far the most entertaining I own on my iphone. It's addictive and a little grindy but not too much, i really love it. Juste thank you. However, i made a mistake. I have two fb account and i logged in with the wrong one. I can't find a way to reverse that. I'd like to sign out and to sign in again with my other account. Is that possible in any way ? Thank you for your answer, and again, congratulations. (Guys, be sure i'll join the facebook group once i managed to log in with my proper account )

Hey Ivan, Good news & Bad news time. Good news is that it seems like IAP is no longer being reset every time the game loads. YAY! Bad news is that no matter how many times I try refreshing my Trade Window, my Trade Mailbox only displays trades from "100001417266727". Previously if that was happening I could just refresh the Trade Window and then re-enter the Trade Mailbox and then the proper names would be displayed instead of "100001417266727". But now, no matter what I try (and I've tried exiting the game, logging out of the online, restarting my device) I can't get the names to display. Unfortunately this means that I am currently unable to trade, as tapping on any trades with "100001417266727" simply crashes the game. Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this? Is this issue related to the recent fix for persistent IAP? Is anyone else having this issue?
This is not the case. I am also having the same issue. clicking on the Pet Store does not resolve it. Another issue is that I have to restore my purchases every single time I come into the app. I cant just use the workaholic or the ministry of love feature unless I restore every time i go out and come back to the app. Something I hope will get iron out soon. Im thinking of a work around to replace my current fb acct with a new fb acct specific for pixel people. Will this work Deleting the app > restore an old backup from before the update > Update > use new fb acct. (for some reason I just cant get an answer for that) I have a feeling that it wont work because my Utopia is now assigned to my old fb acct in the database. So i think im actually stock here. Would you recommend this approach? thanks.
Are you SWIPING the pages to change them or using the arrow buttons? You can only access the HIDDEN 5th page by swiping.
I was swiping but it definitely did nothing. However I just force quit and tried it again and now it's working. I have to say I'm finding this release to have quite a few bugs so far
It might be grindy but atleast it leads to something, in the short, medium and long term. I am also a Battle Nations player, since first release, and that game has the annoying grinding. I spend over 100 on Nanopods (the Utopium used there) and bought al sorts of stuff. In succeeding updates they nerfed (changed stats) the whole game. I like the original concept of the game and because of that and my investment (time and money) I still play it. I am also pretty sure I am not alone in this. I bought some stuff for Pixel People, currently somewhere near 20-30 since first release. I am planning to buy other stuff in the coming months. Imho the great thing about PP is that the special currency is quite easy to obtain (erh harvest ). The game has also enough content for the short and medium term. The long term remains a challange I think. Up till now the dev's' are doing great. With this new friends and neigbhors thing I would love to see adding people based on personal nicknames. Does PP has it's own forums? I use TC, Reddit, Twitter and FB to remain up-to-date. For example the above-mentioned game has forum-accounts directly linked to the game. Also, if things go well I imagine that users are going to have long friend-lists. Being able to manage those in a fluent way would save a lot of time and annoyance. As in taking away the grinding of visiting other Utopia's.
Ivan, I just tried to create a trade offer and I received this message: ERROR 21: YOUR MAILBOX IS FULL Also, not all of my friends are appearing in the Trade Window list. I have 50 friends on Facebook who play, but the list only shows 25. Same with my Friend List for visiting, only 25 total are shown. Is there a 25 friend limit? This seems rather low, can this number be raised, or hopefully eliminated?
Same exact problem here. I don't want to add strangers to my FB account and none of my friends play this.
First have had quite a few all golden hearts and still haven't unlocked the last regular job. Even spent the 5u and that gave me a lost message. (Truly evil there...). Suspect maybe have to deal with water, since most of these new jobs are water related. Will see if that goes anywhere.
OK got the pet store tutorial to stop! beyond my better judgement i added someone i don't even know from Facebook, initiated a trade an boom tutorial stops! Would rather see this as a Gamecenter process since I don't want to add a bunch of people just to progress my game! Does anyone know which building gets you water tiles?
The update has gotten me back into the game after quite a while away from Utopia. Also, I just spent a stockpile of 1,000 hearts on a Spoiler fireworks display .
^This. The pet store notifications are by far the most irritating thing I've encountered in this game. Even in offline mode I get stuck waiting for the pet trading tutorial to slowly meander its way through those same text boxes upon starting up the game, which is beyond ridiculous considering that I am in OFFLINE MODE. I've played PP since its inception and have actively contributed via the worthwhile IAP, but I absolutely refuse to do what the above poster said and add random people to my Facebook (or force any of my friends to play) just so that I won't be constantly irritated by something which could be easily be fixed with a "DO NOT REMIND AGAIN" button. EDIT: I've looked back a few pages and the suggested solution was to just open the Pet Store, but this does not work as I've done that multiple times to absolutely no avail, even after signing into my Facebook..
So here is what seems to be happening to my Trade Mailbox: I have more than 25 friends (around 50 right now) but the game only displays 25 friends in my trade list. Any trades from people NOT currently displayed on the list are listed as 100001417266727 and will crash the game if selected. By mashing the refresh button over and over and over I am sometimes able to get a slightly different list of friends to appear (some names are on both lists) by switching lists I was able to get a name to appear on one accepted trade and one proposed trade (same person for both) and as able to complete both trades. However, there only seems to be 2 versions of my friends list that the game will pull when I hit refresh, and unfortunately I have some friends that are not on either list, and those trades are stuck in my mailbox and can not be completed or deleted because if I tap one it crashes the game. So the problem seems to be that the game currently can't handle more than 25 friends. Can you please address this issue as soon as possible? I am currently unable to trade because I keep getting offers from people whose names I can not display.
