This could be easily "fixed" by adding a confirmation screen in the upper right similar to almost all other big u or $$ choices in the game. My guess is that this is a feature not a bug, and they are intentionally choosing to make expanding easy (whether intentional or not). I have brought up this issue with Ivan a couple times, and have yet to get a straight answer.
I emailed them as Ivan suggested, and got it sorted within a couple of days. I was very impressed with their support service.
Has anybody else had any issues unlocking the easter bunny gene? I just paid the 25U but it's still showing up as locked.
I think I'm done with the game. Not for good or even temporarily, but done with playing obsessively, at least until the next patch. Yesterday, for the first time since I got the game in January (!) I basically ignored it: went all day without leaving the app running, only remembered to open it and tap my Enterprise 2-3 times total, and didn't think at all about when I would next tap it. Stats: 17,000 cps (pre-farm) 376/410 land (that's with 22 Shiny Towers left, 1 of every building, 10 City Squares, a zillion Taverns, and (I think) one land lost to the Racecar Driver bug. 921 Spirit 1296 population (including 3 in Arrival Center) in 443 residences 204 trees 4242 animals Slightly over 3k u saved up
I had the same problem happen to me today. Went to the gene pool, "bought" the Easter Bunny gene for 25U, and no Easter Bunny gene. Ivan, any way you can help?
I don't play my CC game anymore. I have 2,500+ u, maxed out $$$, etc. I just don't have the incentive to even farm the 50u per day. I do still click every now and then on my main game. I haven't built any new Taverns, though. I just click on trees and Workaholic every now and again. I will reengage when 1.5 comes out but there is nothing compelling to stay with it for now. Plus Injustice is my new obsession.
I'm in the same boat, til 1.5. I'm still playing my C\C game because I still have genes to splice but it doesn't consume me as it once did. My main game is sitting on 1600 u maxed out loot. If i'm stuck somewhere waiting like a doc appt then I'll farm some u and workaholic try to get some glass houses or trees from the casino. I'm ok with a break because kotor is consuming my life.
The next update is taking a little bit longer than expected. There's good news though. We've decided to put in a small patch with some critical fixes and 1 surprise. That should be out by the end of the month. As for the big one, you'll all hear about it for shure when we're closer to the launch date .

Awesome run at the casino tonight. Probably my best so far and in just under 40 spins: 1 AGP 3 GP 2 SP 2 PH 2 MOS 1 UB Usual mix of animals + 30U (I think. I might've lost count) I've heard of better runs but never had one personally until now.
It was really weird. There was a person called Simon Bolt in one of my stadiums. I had to send him back to the mothership, and once I'd done that, I just spliced a new clone, and it was all working again. Go figure...
