Thanks for the help. In this case, however, both devices are indeed on the same network, an iPhone 5 and an iPad 4. So somehow... it's not happening. That being said, this is not the first time I've had developers have issues with how Apple handles the iCloud. Seems like Apple has some more work to do.
Paths such as Roads and Waterways don't count towards land usage. Unless your worried about the maximum size of the grid that you place things on, in which case I don't know if there is a limit.
Roads don't cost land. The "land" number isn't the number of spaces available, it's the number of real buildings you can afford to maintain. Paths (roads and waterways) can be placed without affecting that number. You can put down 100 and it won't affect a thing except getting a few achievements.
Another question. Is there a way to move people from one housing building to another? I just unlocked more efficient housing and would like to remove all my early housing buildings.
Does anyone know if there is a building at some point that "beautifies" waterways? I'm considering switching to a canal only city, but my test region looks pretty bland in comparison to the roads. On a related note: Utopia Corp., would you consider creating a new structure that allows connectivity between roadways and waterways? Of course, that assumes there isn't already one coming up later on in my mayoral tenure.
My mayor requests that our overlord put some research and development time into a premium housing unit that takes up 0 land space (like roads and waterways do) Of course it is expected this housing, were it to exist, would come at a high price.
Managed to get my game synced back to my iPad. Is there an easy way to restore purchases? In this case I'm talking about the Enterprise building 0.99 IAP.
Go to you City Hall and tap on the gear (settings) icon. There is a restore purchase button at the bottom.
Is Game Center not working with this game? It keeps telling me I've never played the game. Even when i go to the game from GC.. Anyone else?
We didn't want first time players to be bombarded with the GC sign in on first launch. That said, You can sync up GC by visiting the police station and clicking the refresh button.
Ahh. Perfect! My own fault for not investigating thoroughly Not giving me all the achievements already hit (ie: build 5 roads) but hopefully if I build 5 more, it'll come. Thanks for the super quick response! Edit: Nevermind. Through further investigation, I seem to have found the ability to "collect" them Brilliant.
I am absolutely loving this game so far! It's like a cross between Tiny Tower and SimCity. I had the same exact worry. I played through quite some time and after a while I realized achievements weren't registering. Luckily, I was hooked enough to keep playing and found they unlocked after creating the Police Station.
Game Breaking Bug I was loving the game yesterday and got up to about 40 professions unlocked, but then I came back to the game after a break and loaded from the title screen and the town is completely gone! It shows 0 professions and i cant do anything at all. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling, and i deleted the cloud data on my phone (I think), but I still have the same problem. Hopefully one of you guys can help Ive attached the pic of the problem too
My iCloud is working but GameCenter isn't, Any one else having this problem? I have a 4S running on 6.1 BTW.
Bug report : Restoring purchases renders the achievement "Long term planning" impossible to complete if you do so BEFORE building the enterprise building. Any way to correct this? Cheers.
