Wouldn't you just farm the hearts and release it all before you sleep? Oh, one more thing I forgot to mention, the Enterprise doubler IAP price will go up because of this buff to this ability. All existing players that have bought the doubler will gain the benefit automatically.
One option to make the Casino a feature but not the primary goal would be to limit the number of spins daily. Maybe the first 10 spins cost 1M each and then they are 1u each. Or there is a hard limit of 20 per day.
Question on Hearts for Ivan If I have 4 hearts stored and use Bumper Crop. I get 1 minute but all 4 hearts are consumed. Shouldn't I have 1 left in my inventory or be given 1:20? Not sure if this is a bug or whether this was intentional.
What about leaving the doubler as-is but making the mega tap also an IAP? I just feel like you guys might make more in the long term if a) existing players had the opportunity to purchase and b) new players aren't confronted by one big expensive purchase that might make them not want to spend the money. Edit: I forgot how expensive the farm is! What I'm describing would use 300 hearts which is actually more than I have so far. So yeah, never mind, not that big an issue!
I'm so close to getting all the jobs... Finally. But, where do you get the Hitch Hiker job? He's special gene, and I'm not getting any missions for it.
Currently, it consumes all. I have to check whether it gives a fraction the time. I think it does. In any case, there are no fractions in the new rates (i.e. its 1 heart = xx minutes), so this will not be a problem in a few days.
Sweet, awesome to hear some of the new balancing. I personally don't think that I HAVE to keep spinning the casino to have fun; but at end game there's not a whole lot left to do. Basically I end up spinning for houses to build duplicates so I can up my cps so I can spin the casino to get more houses etc etc. xD Then, when new content comes along I'll have a great cps and be able to work through it with ease. Just now getting a bigger cps seems to be the only goal. That and upgrading all the buildings to max. XD But yeah, I understand where you're coming from. Right now the only thing to do with coins while waiting for new content is to blow them at the casino for astroglass rewards to accommodate the next content update. The other thing is that with the ever increasing cost of expansion, once you get to a certain level there's almost no point in saving the coins to level up anymore, as by this time you'll have enough trees to level up every two days from the law firm, whereas a non duplicate city would take over a week.
We had a discussion for a hundred different variations of this. The issue was actually way more complicated. Some time over the last few months, we knew we wanted 1) an additional doubler and 2) a MegaTap. One idea was to "tier" the enterprise upgrade and keep the Megatap as a separate building. Problem was that the way the Enterprise Doubler was phrased: "a one-time upgrade....". This could potential lead existing players to feel 'cheated' or confused with 1.41. So we were now lacking space to 'house' the additional doubler. We then thought of combining the doubler with the megatap, but realized quickly that there would be no proper way to balance this. Firstly, the megatap was originally a non-IAP purchase (it was an ability that would unlock with the Technopark). But the combination of doubler with a megatap made it way too valuable and putting an IAP price for unlocking that just made it confusing. So... we ended up with this.
Just wanted to re-post this, since I haven't seen anything mentioned about it. I've put my relocation plans on hold since I already have two Mechanics in my hotel (and one in the Rocky Mansion!) and don't want to make things worse.
I concur! One surprising choice for Pixel People imho is the very short coin production time of a lot of buildings. I understand it for a beginner's game as it entices the player to come back often. But in mid to end game, it makes no sense to have 4 minutes buildings. Personnaly I don't even bother to tap the 10minutes or less buildings most of the time. I guess you already extended some building production times in 1.41 (I figure it's what you meant by halving taps per hour). But allowing us to level up to level 10 for example, would be an easy way to encourage ppl to buy and use u. I'm not sure Tiny Tower for example has a maxed level for its floors (although the level up is way less generous as it just adds a constant production time instead of multiplying the original production time as you do)
There is no max upgrade in TT. I collected thousands of bux playing the "new tenant/evict" game while trying to get dream job 9s for every floor, so I spent them on upgrades. (What else is there?) Now every floor has at minimum a 4 hour timer to restock the 3-coin item (so 12 hours to sell out). My coffee house and sub shop are at level 45, for example. I'd like to do a similar thing with Pixel People.
Hi - first apologies for hijacking this thread but people here seem to have a LOT of experience with this game so thought someone might be able to help! Basically, I got into the game, hit a wall, needed a bit more utopium and completed one of the in-app offers for 350ish new utopium. No new utopium. Contacted the support team on the 'missing utopium?' link. Support team (Burstly) confirm that I've completed the offer, the money is taken from my bank card, but still no utopium. So I send a few more emails, get no real reply from them, get increasingly frustrated that I've spent hours of my life chasing up this $10 offer, ask for my money back. Burstly then say that it's not their problem, and that they're not the right people to deal with missing utopium in the game. They send me an email address for a generic EA online contact, but it's a dead end as it's just an auto-reply bot email. This can't be the first time this has ever happened so why will nobody deal with it?! So frustrated and annoyed at the developers, has turned me right off the game. Has anyone had a similar issue and how did it get resolved?
This can't be right. I personally tested emailling Burstly about lost offers and they were quick and responsive about dealing with the issue. Burstly doesn't do the refunds for the offers you had with the sites, but what they do is track down whether the offer was actually completed and they would send you the lost Utopium within a day or 2. Did you approach them for missing Utopium? or for a straight up refund?
Can you only reset an additional job clone (yellow beaker) while they are still at the Arrival Center? Once you assign them a job, is it too late to unmake them? If so, what happens if you make a bunch of clones that can't be assigned a job? They just sit there clogging up either the hotel or the Arrival Center...?
