Ah, this may be the issue people are reporting. We've made the lumbermill only work for ONE collection cycle. It's kinda wonky right now as it's NOT possible for the lumbermill cooldown to span two collection cycles. All these will be synced up in 1.41.
If that is the case, then might I suggest halving the cost of the Lumber Mill? As it stands, the Lumber Mill only breaks even on coins to utopium IF you would be able to use it for TWO collection cycles. If it only works for ONE cycle, then it is a major ripoff and I can't see anyone using it.

Yea that's a tough one. I thought maybe a Doctor combined with something with binoculars, like a Bird Watcher. But now that I think about it, it's not too bad, I just didn't think about it. It's an interesting discussion about gamer psychology. A big part of me wishes spoilers weren't so easily available. It would be more rewarding to finally figure it out on my own. But then you read the discussions here about the new abilities on the new locations, and that makes it much harder to NOT just go check the spoilers.
When does the tree/utopium timer reset to midnight? Is that in the 1.41 patch? Because since I got up this morning, I only got about 10u before I started getting +10 on the trees.
Yeah, Ivan said that right now the timer is 24 hours after your first collected u the previous cycle, but in 1.41 it will be moved to midnight.
achievement bugs or operator error? Sorry if this is several dozen pages back and I missed it. I have found all the jobs/genes, including the secret hideout stuff, but I'm not getting credit for 3 of the gallery achievements: pilot project, fishy business and from clones to clowns. Am I doing something wrong or are these known issues?
Okay, there's something wrong about the rabbit. I've spent over 500 million over these three days and this rabbit is nowhere to be found! It's a Tier 2 Animal, for Pete's sake! Can any of you guys who can access the DB check the odds of finding the rabbit? Because I'm tired, really =/
I'm not sure. I didn't get credit for completing the T3 and T4 animals last night, but I just opened my game again and got the credit. I still don't have credit for Pilot Project (which I also completed last night), though. If I check the achieves in GameCenter rather than just the list in the Station, Pilot Project is listed as 95% completed even though the in-game job page shows everything discovered on that page. I wonder if it has anything to do with running two separate games on two different devices and GC getting confused. I have a "normal" game on my iPod, and a "casino/church" game on my iPad.
Operator error confirmed. Achievement icons were greyed out with question marks, but when I tapped on them, there was a collect reward button available. I tapped that, got my utopium and the icons switched to gold.
This is interesting. I am building a tavern and I had 7 spaces in housing. I made my 6 tavern people and moved them to the hotel, causing the Town Hall to say that I have room for 7 people still. Now, 3 new ones are in the arrival center. Is this going to make it impossible to transfer people from the hotel to the Tavern, or will it cause me to exceed the population limit? (Won't be a problem, since these are all duplicates I can reset clones in the Hotel and make new ones in the arrival center. But it seems like the sort of thing that should not be allowed to happen by the game.)
Yes, you won't have enough housing to move them all in, but surely that's the whole point of the hotel? You can temporarily free up housing slots and arrival centre space while waiting for something to build. One you've built new housing, you can move them out of the hotel again.
