    Trees too please! Im not too fond of all the pink trees infecting my green forest...

    Awesome city btw. Very organized!

    Edit: I think an awesome way to turn existing trees and decor to AG would be to basically harvest existing AG items to AG units or something. A tree or 1 spirit decor would yield one unit (Likewise, 2 spirit would yield 2 AG units), and then you can apply that to another tree or decor (which will cost 1 AG unit per spirit). This way we're not really losing or gaining anything. Just simply saves us from having a million bronze plaza or astro trees. Just an idea!

    We have a fix for animal chances. In particular, the rate of finding rare animals will be much easier. At least until we get some other vital features out.

    Also, we'll probably tweak the casino stuff abit. I agree that 10mill for 1 animal is a little lame. We'll think of something

    With mine i kind of just wanted the central boulevard up to the Altar. You have no idea how long it took me to reorganise my city to how it looks now haha.

    It used to be a natural spread in order of how I built it, but I changed it after I built the altar. Now I've the residential sector, the utopium sector, agriculture, business, entertainment, etc. :)

    Because of the tweaks to the animal probabilities in 1.3, I was able to collect them all much faster on my new game versus my old game. So a huge improvement has already been made.

    I can very much imagine how long it took, as I have spent many hours frustratingly trying to arrange mine.

    Some buildings like Beach House just don't seem to fit with anything else.

    Finding animals in general has been a lot easier, but I'be also been stuck on a whale. Gets frustrating fast.

    Just throwing an idea out there to help with this situation -

    Building: Hunting Lodge
    Special ability: 10 hearts/minute - increases the odds of finding animals needed for current missions (even better if you could target one specific animal)

    This could make it easier to get needed animals without changing the odds around permanently, but the rather steep hearts cost and relative vagueness would mean it's only for a last resort. Not sure how feasible this is from a programming standpoint, though.

    I'm not sure how helpful this ability would be. By your description "10 hearts/minute - increases the odds of finding animals needed for current missions" I would assume that it would make it so that heart rewards that reward animals would only choose animals that could be used by ANY current mission. Therefore if you have a mission like "ANYMALS" open, then it would increase the odds of getting ANY animal.

    I would much rather it be something like:

    10 hearts/minute - increases the odds of finding animals that you have the LEAST amount of.

    That way it would help you get animals that you have 0 of first.

    Been lurking here for a while and had two questions.

    Is the price for Casino spins level-based? I think I'm at level 21 and it would cost me 10M coins per spin through my last two expansions.

    Does anyone know the four new animals? I got the first one and someone several pages ago posted a second.

    Current stats:
    231/231 land (got caught time-shifting twice when I didn't want to return an audiobook to the library yet)
    293/300 people in 51 residences (42 shiny towers, 7 heavenly houses, 1 manor of speaking, and 1 precarious heights)
    missing 6 regular people (was waiting for U for hitchhiker gene, but just unlocked) and 2 secret genes (land restraints)
    3 astroglass trees
    5 astroglass decorations

    Also, no one has mentioned it (maybe it's not a big deal to most of you), but there is now a switch in the baseball field.

    Well, since the missions can be skipped, ideally you'd skip past the missions that required any animals before you activated the ability. Originally I was thinking that you would just target one animal, but I thought that might be too powerful. Your suggestion is good, too. I think the goal is just some way to raise the odds of getting animals that you actually need, and not llama #17.

    Call me crazy, but to me it seems that heart growth is related to type of prize.

    I've noticed that when you tap a house to start the heart press sequence, the hearts grow at different rates. I can definitely tell a fast growth vs slower growth (there may even be a third 'middle speed' growth'). Anyways, when it comes time for the last heart sequence to get a surprise, I've noticed that getting a slower heart yields better prizes (i.e. no small coin prizes). Tried this today and have not yet got a small coin prize. Also was able to get my last animal for the foodie gene doing this.

    Anyways, was hoping to see if anyone else noticed this. It may be possible I just got lucky, but many cycles later and I still got a non-small coin prize (typically an animal). Also, when you do the heart press sequence, letting go and pressing again can change the speed.

    Btw, I'm level 17, with 200/200 land, and 6 hearts upgraded from research lab. If anyone can confirm what I'm seeing (or confirm my insanity), I'd appreciate it.

    Nice! I like your layout. Very efficient! Though, come on...would it kill you to give your poor citizens a road or two? ;)

    Out of curiosity: what buildings would you remove if you could? I just built a stadium in my lvl 9 game and am now kind of regretting going that route, instead of taverns. But maybe it is needed for one of the jobs.

    or trade animals, or simply send one to friends via GameCenter, like in PocketFrogs or PocketPlanes; but I've no idea how much work GC integration like that is

    hyena, terrier, crocodile, and platypus

    Actually just today, I noticed the heart press sequence have different growth rates as well.

    I was holding my finger down to grow a heart then got distracted and let go. When I pressed again, it grew much faster.

    I haven't observed it enough to tell if the growth rate is random or meaningful.

    The numbers geek in me would love to see this concept (Statistician in the Ball field) expanded.

    How about tracking some stats and displaying them in this building?

    - Average number of taps per day
    - Total taps since playing
    - Total number of coins collected in the last day
    - Total number of hearts collected in the last day
    - Total number of casino spins since playing

    And on and on...

    I just butt-bought the next level. When I'm harvesting trees, I often leave the game on for a bit, so I can hopefully come back to a bunch of trees needing to be harvested, rather than just watching the forest, which gets really boring. So I left the game on and put it in my jacket pocket. I go to get it out a few minutes later, and see on the screen - 'Congrats! You just leveled up!' ....to 275 land, so it must've cost around 120 mil. I don't know how that could've happened because it's 3 clicks to do that. I had just expanded not long ago and still had 6 land available. Oh well. Probably would've bought it eventually. Fortunately I had plenty of cash so I've got plenty left over, but still...I thought viewers of this forum might get a kick out of that story.

    Incidentally, I really like version 1.4. Kudos to the devs for adding content and new ways to play.

    Although I'm sad to say I was a bit bummed with the secret jobs. I thought it would be fun to try to figure out the jobs, like in the early days of the app. But now with so many jobs, that's a ton of random tapping. Some make sense like
    Butcher
    . Others like
    Optometrist
    I never would have guessed.

    Unannounced work on that front. We're definitely thinking of ways to reward our long time fans of that game.
