This might look odd cause it's my first post and it'll be "advertising" but it's more like, I've been lurking for ages and decided this was good enough to tell people. If you don't mind paying for U or if you want to do it just once, the current deal with GoDaddy promotion is a very good rate. $5 (for my country) for 680u is a big saving if you want to call it that and you also will get a domain name registered for a year, so hey, make a PixelPeople fan site if you want I'm not really a fan of GoDaddy in the slightest for a lot of reasons but I did it for the U's and you can always transfer the domain out of GoDaddy later if you don't like them. Anyway, I just thought a lot of people might never click on the promotions and I've never seen a rate that good before.
there are some nice deals in some of these apps, especially if you were thinking of making a website or getting hulu plus or whatever. especially when you consider how much you'd spend on that much U in the first place.
Musician Mission Muckup Hi there, I haven't finished reading through the ten million new posts since the update came out, so I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet but I have come across a bug. The only new gene I had left to unlock this morning before I downloaded the new update was the musician - still waiting on that damn bat! After the update there were 2 slots for the Easter Egg mission, and after I finished that, there was one locked slot, and one mission full of empty slots, costing 0u to buy out. I bought it out, was awarded a random gene, and then as soon as I tapped to close the window, the whole thing crashed and closed. So I can't unlock the musician at all now.
Yeah I had the same concern but alas, just go to Utopia HQ and there should be a mission in there that takes the 9 eggs to complete So it doesn't just unlock after the 9th egg, which is how I read it at first too.
Three posts up from yours is Ivan's response to this one. Fixed in next patch. Don't know when it's due though. I'm stuck with this as well.
Don't know if anyone's mentioned this Golden Heart bug before, but I've had it since 1.3. Some valid combinations don't seem to give Golden Hearts. When I got rid of some of my old housing, I made sure to pair up jobs that could make golden hearts, but two of my matches don't seem to work. Spoiler Deputy + Mechanical Engineer = Construction Worker Mathematician + Secretary = Accountant I've tried that match several times in 1.3 and 1.4, and they still don't give golden hearts. Other matches I've tried seem to work fine though.
Apparently they have to be in left to right order as well. So if it says mechanical engineer + deputy, the mechanical engineer has to be on the left and vice versa.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but a new thing for the farm is that you can spend 3 hearts for 1 minute of double coins income, but it's actually 3u not hearts. Is that a typo or?
Utopia HQ Mission Bug Before I updated the game at v1.40, I haven't got the Musician gene yet since I am missing a Walrus. After I updated just earlier, and finishing the easter bunny mission. The musician gene mission doesn't show up in the mission. The only thing that appeared is a blank mission, with 9 undefined animals, but you cannot skip or buy out of it. It crashes the game when you try. Any reason for this? or a fix, maybe?
I think the u from trees is kinda bugged out. Yesterday after activating the buff I only went from 175 to about 195. I probably got about 5 from heart surprises during. I've already collected my daily 25 before. And after this, I started to constantly get 10 coins from trees. Today I started at 208u and ended at 244. I thought Id get up to over 258 but I guess I only got my regular daily 25u even though the buff is still active. So I really want to suggest a daily counter showing how many u we've collected at the logging camp or something. And also wonder why trees arent just rerolled at midnight like everything else.
There's a few people with this issue, myself included according to the devs post on the last page it'll be fixed in the next update.... Don't know when that'll be tho!
in 1.41, trees will display the daily collected amount. Also, it will reset at midnight. We're currently pretty sure that there isn't a bug with the collection. We've tested it just now.

Hmm? That shouldn't be the case. Have you found any secret jobs? Unlocking a secret job will unlock 2 further missions which will unlock an LOCKED special gene slot. You will then be able to progress from that one slot.
Awesome to hear the update will address the finer details. And I may have been wrong. I'll check it out once the timer is over and see if the same results happen later today. Any chance that we might be able to choose the amount of hearts used for one of the boost in the future? I love the new features as it allows us to play in new ways, like not using decorations at all and just using the carnival during leveling or when you need to make a lot of people. I think allowing us to choose the amount of hearts used would let us use them more strategically. Awesome update overall though. I'm enjoying the fact that I can use my hearts to make more money (via farm), turn that money into U (via log camp), turn that U into more money (via missions), and then gamble it away for the hopes of AG items (via casino). Awesome cycle that'll keep me entertained for awhile.
Thanks for the response I hadn't but I have now, and what has happened now is that the wonderland mission has reappeared so I should be able to continue with that - it popped into the locked slot - but I've still got the blank mission and no sign of any other missions to unlock any of the secret genes
