Hm .. has a strange bug that i noticed before the patch of today. After the previous patch i finished the new content and reached 210 jobs. Though when i came back to the game a few days later the total said "181/210" but when i click on it all the jobs are still unlocked.
Not a bug; it's based on how the mechanic works for getting u from trees. The 25 limit resets 16 hours from the first time you get u from a tree. That means if you get 5u from trees now, and start tapping again in 15 and a half hours, you'll carry through into the next lot of u. This is why you got 45u instead of just 25. On a side note; anyone figured out some of the hidden genes? I've only figured out the masseuse so far. :3 Also the double cps multi at the farm is insane for getting cash for short periods.

The latest expansion didn't really have any puzzles like that. Hoho. Wait till the next one comes out (it has been submitted about a week ago). Spoiler Wow. Nailed it. You guys rock!!!!!
I don't think so. Yesterday I collected my full 25 u, and I started tapping at like 8 AM, collected my 25 u and let it sit overnight. For your explanation to be right, I would have had to have the 16 hour timer roll over when I had collected 20 u this morning, which would have been maybe 2 hours ago, so let's say 10 am ish. That timer would have to have started at like 6 pm. And to be fair I did look at Pixel People around that time, but I'm sure I didn't get any u from any trees after my 25 for the day (which were all earlier).
Huh, well that stumps me. :/ I'm just going off what some of the other guys were saying about how it works earlier. I think it'd just be easier if the trees did their 25u a day thing like everything else does; by ticking over at midnight. YEP! Sadly only found one green tube so far haha. Not sure how many of these are going to have new buildings though, since a lot of buildings got extra people. Theatre now has a new person making it even more profitable for the casual player.
I made an account just to write this: I love Pixel People but I just spent 20u on a quest that unlocked secret genes. Yay! Right? Except not. I spent 20u for a list of names of the secret genes, not actually for them to be shown in the splicing area which I thought I would, or give me the formula at the least. That's a ripoff LambdaMu. So WARNING- do not spend the 20u to complete the quests. All they do is give you names, not even the actual formulas. I could have spent that u on 3 houses or half of an upgrade or two pieces of land from the church. I'm actually kind of annoyed right now...
Go read the text at the Secret Hideout. This new mechanic is an effort by the developers to make the game more fun with more puzzles. I think it's great!
I don't think it JUST gives you the names; I'm pretty sure it gives you the names AND lets you unlock those specific secret genes. I suppose even if it does just give you the names it saves you a lot more time than trying out every possible combo.
Invisible animals. Dun dun duuuun EDIT: can someone confirm that the mechanic bug is fixed? Don't want to move her if its gonna bug still.
I also think it's odd that that a) the job counter now has 2XX/211 and b) jobs over 211 don't show up at the courthouse even though the new job found icon pops up. Also, it would be nice if the Secret Hangout remembered the combos for the jobs you have successfully found.
That makes much more sense... the way the description read on the secret hideout ("Can you guess these genes?") I thought that you could guess them no matter what and I had paid 20u just for names.
Woo I was right after all. ;3 Ivan while you're here; is the mechanic fixed this update or is that 1.41? Same with the negative Alsations.
