All right, good news, we now have a solid crew of 18 experienced beta testers for the first wave! Nevertheless, you can still apply right now for the beta on Testflight. This means that we'll take a few new people for the first wave. People not selected in the first wave will probably be selected in the second wave in a few weeks . The beta has now officially started, the first build is finally available! A bit nervous to hear people reactions since we probably waited too much to show it around, but this is exciting nonetheless .
I'm having a few issues at the moment, probably due to the age of my device but anyway. First time I passed the first licence test (where you stop in the designated zone) and it froze on a black screen. Second, after a reboot I had to start from the very beginning which was fine, it took until lap 9 for the intro race to finish whereas before it was much faster, wasn't sure what factors played into it. Managed to fail the first licence test this time lol, tried to restart it and got the black screen again. Sorry for the less than positive bit but I can definitely say I love the visuals, really my kind of retro - not overtly simplified and with plenty of colour. Physics feel good as I ended up in first before I broke apart the second time. Not too sure about controls on my iPad though; I may be holding it incorrectly or missing alternatives but my thumb tends to cover the edge of the screen so I can't pre-judge the terrain as well.. Really looking forward to getting into this some more though, the early referencing of Full Metal Jacket alone puts you in my good books!
I'm having the same issue. Fail the licence test, frozen with a black screen. Need to close the app and then when I open it again, it's like any progress was erased and I need to start from the beginning
Hmmm never seen that but we really need to get to the bottom of this bug asap, not cool being stuck in the intro. We'll make a series of test!
I get the pop up with a hint and Retry or Next but either choice gives a black screen when I fail. Third time through unfortunately, sorry.
I also get the same. Each time I restart the app, I have to redo the first race and during the second try, I had a crash.
Yeah that sure proves the need for betas Never seen something like that though. Updating to the latest xcode in case it would make the crash to magically appear on my devices.
Just checked my email and it said it was removed when I tried to download, so I came here. Good luck with sorting out the freezing
