Yea well a couple a weeks ago I bought another copy of rockband 2, so I got a free 48 hour live code with it. As I have no extra money to spend since my moms bday is coming up, I wanted to use it until I had some extra cash. I typedit in and it says it's INVALID! It won't go through and it hasn't been used yet. Anyone know of a way to solve this problem?
uh playstation is pretty horrible, although playstation home is pretty cool. xbox live owns and everyone knows so.but you either mistyped the code wrong, because there pretty confusing sometimes. or you can do what phil said to do, and just make another account and get free xbox live ha
Dude I would totally help you out right now if I was at home, but sadly I am in new York (sad for you anyways). I went to San Diego comic con and at the xbox booth they had piles of 48 hour codes so I just grabbed a ton, and when I counted them out I had like 2 months worth of free Live in 48 hour codes. Wait! Actually I think I have one on me. Hold on a sec. Ok I pm'ed you. Check and see if it works. And btw ps3<Xbox 360. I own both and rarely play me ps3. It gets about the same playtime as my Wii, which is maybe once a month. I'm not really a fan of any exclusives (except for uncharted, motorstorm, mgs) and I hate the controller, so anything that is multiplat I get for xbox. All of my friends have an xbox, and the online is so much better. You get what you pay for, right?
Actually the fact that the PS3 is way overpriced, has horrible laggy online service, and makes you install every game you buy really makes the value of the console lower than a wiis. But that's just my opinion. I know this because my cousin has one and I've seen all this happen in person. Aww man, says the code has been redeemed. Ah well.
you can get discounted xbox live memberships on buy.com. I recently got a year subscription for 15 bucks. $35 - $20 checkout promotion. looks like it went up a little to $42, but they almost always have some sort of promotion for instant cash back.
