I've unlocked all I've the cards not counting booster packs and I've been trying more Souls Rift with Admiral; I have no idea how to make it work because most of the draft cards are just skill damage cards. It would be great if the card buckets at the end of battle featured more anti-curse cards considering the fact that this stage is half about dealing with curses. The plethora of skill damage cards in the buckets do not really deal with curses at all. I've played about 3 run-throughs and the only actual way to discard curses has been through the Dice relic, which is not even a dedicated anti-curse item. It's pretty strange because my previous runs in which I hadn't unlocked all the cards, Souls Rift card buckets actually provided a few cards that could deal with curses. Now every run through I lose when I get to the statues because I have not been able to draft or buy any anti-curse cards. tl;dr The card rewards in Souls Rift actively work against you and don't feature much anti-curse cards despite it being the most curse-heavy stage. Also I've entered the Plague curse cave with the 4 upgrades with an Amulet, but the first option didn't pop up for me.
Lovely game, I’ve playing it a lot and trying to end all scenarios with all different heroes. But it’s getting hard to keep track of which levels did i beat with which characters. Maybe there could be some sort of recod for that, to add replayability?
Would love a traveler’s log, where it saves the decks used for every successful run. Also after following J6U’s guide on Swordmaster, I’ve been having tons of success (beat Souls Ridt three times in a row). Just removing agility and trying rage builds have been a gamebreaker. The horn relic and the boxing glove relic makes your damage output actually insane.
Just beat Souls Rift with Admiral, here’s my deck. For most of the journey i had the feather relic, which lets you upgrade a card for 35 coins (making it worth the cost). I also find for admiral it is better to keep a thin deck, as the base cards work really well. The shield cards with a bit of gold are really really good. I usually wouldn’t pick up cards I didnt need and instead take relics, selling them if they werent useful. I didnt really find the curses too bothersome. None of the stage 3 bosses use curses, and those annoying totem enemies that give you curse cards aren’t too bad if you always have a lot of shield.
I'm curious, what cards do you guys think can be buffed or nerfed? Are there any minor changes you guys would make to any hero?
I noticed that there has been a bug where the Lucky Clover relic revives you over and over, making you invincible. I'm not sure if it works after being used in a prior battle, but it's definitely a game breaking bug that should be checked out. I also know that someone else on the Pirates Outlaws subreddit reported the same bug.
I noticed this glitch, ended up helping me get the Carpenter achievement where you never overload. Woops. Also, I finally got all the achievements except the 10,000 enemies one! My progress on that: 5000. So after unlocking all heros all relics and beating everything in the game, I am only halfway to this achievement without much to play for (unless I care for skins). I hope Arena counts for this achievement. To answer the question about cards I would buff: probably most of the statuses like drunk weaken and injury. Has anyone used drunk successfully even with the boosters? Just seems inconsistent. Weaken also doesnt seem anywhere near as good as rage to yourself, and I’ve never done an injury build. Maybe other ppl have had more success than me.
I can say from experience that Injury decks are very good and don't need a buff. Giving enemies high stacks of Injury just decimates them. Weakness definitely needs a buff, as the only card that benefits from it is Paper from the Wrestle pack. Drunk can be a very good build, but I'm having trouble dealing good consistent damage (this probably won't be nearly as bad of a problem once I get the Cursed Wine Bottle relic in one of those runs).
New update with cloud save, different style of lines between islands, and faster animations. I like that enemies attack right away instead of waiting for the enemy's turn to pass. Definitely adds up and cuts down on waiting time. I've been getting sub 20 min. runs with Swordmaster instead of 20:00ish minute runs, but I'm not sure how much of it is due to the reduced animation. It would be neat to have the discard pile reshuffle faster into the draw pile as well. Edit: Are there any cards that you guys never draft? I personally never draft Dangerous Game or Beg. The Arena opens his doors Today! It's a tough and challenging mode. Do no give up, good luck and have fun. Version 1.30 is in review for iOS, be patient! https://fabledgame.com/pirates-outlaws/arena
Yay Arena 100 completed Spoiler Lol, the difficulty to reward ratio for completing a 100 arena run seemed a little off. I think it's still better to just grind Pirates Bay with Swordmaster if you need gold.
Got to 60 with swordmaster. Whats with that stupid helmet enemy that is invincible but explodes for its health? Is there no counter to it but dodge?
Hey! Anyone got problem with cloud save since last update? My bros lost all his progress... meh Any idea?
... while I’m not sure it’s cloud save for me, but suspect it is, I’d say yes for me also. I posted an image above. Whenever I go through the menu screens I get a highly annoying turning ship steering wheel thing for about 15 seconds and then the network timeout message as above. And in my settings menu it says cannot connect to cloud save server. I have cloud save enabled in the settings app. This sound same for your bro? Edit: turning on game centre in settings app fixed it for me.
