What do you mean? Your wording is confusing. If you have the old key relic, then once you are in the area with the chest event, it will be labeled clearly.
That same card. There is one melee and one ranged Booster. Every time you use one of them, that card, and any other card with booster in the name go up in damage.
Finally beat the first zone with the alchemist, I really struggled with that one. Between the carpenter and the musician, what would everyone suggest is more fun to play?
It depends on what type of play-style you like the most. If you felt struggled to play the alchemist, I would say that the carpenter would fit you more, since he has the easier mechanism compared to the musician. The musician is really powerful, but you need to calculate every move to get the biggest value. Of course, it is best to try both classes by yourself.
Just some small talk here. I bought the game. I bought the doubler. Played countless hours. THEN, bought 10k coins to instantly get the last relic spot. Is it encouraging the devs or is it cheating? Maybe both? I kinda feel bad to have taken a shortcut, meh.
If you use the gold you buy to unlock character and use the gold you grind to buy upgrade, it feels better because more characters don't make you stronger.
I haven’t seen a post about the various packages. I have the “Wrestle” package which was recommended earlier for the Sword Master but haven’t seen any other comments about the other packages. The “Thorn” package looks good for an injury build. Anyone have any opinions on the various packages?
I use the Wrestle and Thorn packages, and haven't tried out the Toast package yet. Wrestle is good for melee mostly, and Thorn is a great addition to any deck and especially welcome in Injury decks. While I haven't used Explosion or Cost, I can tell that Explosion is very good with a ranged deck like the Gunner, and Cost is great for people that can get a lot of health pretty easily to combat losing so much. Cost is also for decks wanting big damage boosts. I'll have to try them all out and see how they mix with each other and different heroes.
I played Musician, and he seemed pretty good, but not that great at anything in particular. He seems like a jack of all trades kind of hero, so I have a hard time figuring out the best way to use him. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Update: I only have three more bosses to do before this is complete! I look forward to releasing it here very soon!
I noticed that the Cursed Captain's description says that he has 50 health, but he starts with 55 (not including the -14 max health that the Mutate curses take away).
