    Yeah, power scroll is just amazing. If we just compare power scroll to the other scrolls, healing scroll is equivalent to 5/3 apple relics, power scroll is equivalent to two beastfang necklaces, rage scroll is equivalent to three crab pincers but is actually worth slightly less because the subsequent stacks of rage can be erased. The gold from power scroll easily outweighs its competition and the AI can't negate it through damage or status changing.

    Starting the game with two beastfang necklaces would make any class super strong early on.

    Any tips for the alchemist? I'm struggling to deal with the RNG when fusing cards both in battle and at the market.

    Yes, I thought the developer should buff 2 other scrolls, the power scroll is just so powerful, since you always get +2 attack, which means you can kill enemies faster, you would not take too many damages as well.

    From the preview, I took some notes here.

    Default deck:
    Shoot*1, Punch*2, Offensive Stance*2, Masque*2, Impromptu*2 and Jack of Trade*1

    Special Skills:
    Offensive Stance: Cost 1(0) bullet, next attack will be a critical hit, status becomes Dueling.
    • (Dueling: ?, +1 attack perhaps.)(Looks like the Crits can stack just like Issue Order.)

    Masque: Cost 1 bullet, gain 6(9) protection, status becomes Disguised.
    • (Disguised: Gain 25% Lifesteal.)

    Impromptu: Reload 1(2). status becomes Performing.
    • (Performing: Reload equal to the number of cards in hand at end of turn.)

    Jack of Trade: Cost 1 bullet, effect depends on your status.
    • Dueling: Deals 10(15) damage
    • Disguised: Draw 1(2)
    • Performing: Upgrade 1(all) card in hand

    Looks like the Musician is a really powerful class, with a complicated mechanic comparing to other classes, and Jack of Trade is the first card to upgrade absolutely.

    I hope musician end up as a decent character. My concern is the complexity in character mechanic that depends on having specific card when you are in different status to excel. You’d likely spend every coin refreshing enemy drop and card removal

    Eh something strange happened,(first image is just me after doing more than 100 damage on the boss on the first turn), then... the boss was killed by the draw=cause damage relic on second image....wasn't he invulnerable while he had lackeys?....so the draw damage don't count to the rule uh...

    She is invulnerable only to direct damage, injuries can do damage like draws.

    yes I remember kick and pull to the wall could deal damage as well.

    Perfect deck but forgot to screenshot at the after the run...but i remember what i had, it was a 22 card deck, with 3 throw knife, 2 sweeps and 2 greeds, 1 block, 1 wooden shield, and 3 booster strike*, 1 salvage*, 1 weighty blow*(6 relcs), 3 ammo, sketch* and mirror image*,piranha, triple shot and a banana*, with a dice relic, half of deck is removable during the fight and i copied the booster strikes to do a amazing damage.

    The goal for alchemist should be to thin your deck as much as possible. Because of that it doesnt really matter what garbage you get because you are probably going to fuse it anyways. Tips:

    -for rewards after battle look for cards that are removed or relics. Better than cluttering up your deck
    -if you get salvage or quick shot you can infinitely cycle through your deck super easily. Just upgrade them and focus on cutting out every card besides one attack card. In battle fuse everything besides the draw card and the attack card and you infinitely cycle your cards so the opponent can never move.
    -upgrade the alchemy cards ASAP. You run into serious ammo problems otherwise. Upgraded catalyst gets you two ammo instead of one.
    -the best attack cards are booster series or bide time. Cards that get stronger the longer you wait or the more you use then works great with the cycling mechanic
    -likewise, the ax relic that damages an enemy per draw or the dice relic to discard a card works great to keep up momentum.

    Any1 beat the boss thats the two natives on chapter 2? It seems they recover to full health every turn regardless of who you attack.

    Also who got the 30 cards achievement and 1000 coins achievement? Im thinking soul rift might be good for 1000 coins because there’s an event where you can get as many coins as you want for 5 health. Wondering if anyone got these achievements in Pirates Bay though.

    Not yet, but you have to damage them both at each turn, because at the end of your turn they will be healed to have the same life as the one with the most.

    Cannot wait for this! I have been holding off on playing on my iPad since I am so far into it on my iPhone. Didn't want to start over. This is easily the best dollar I've spent all year. Love this game.

    For the 30 cards achievement you could just go swordmaster then do as much battles as possible. Swordmaster can easily still beat the game 30 melee cards.

    For 1000 coins, I did this on the second map because of all the gold events and the chance to attack the 999 hp treasure chest. You get gold equal to amount of damage done to the chest.

    Wow this game gets a lot of attention here on toucharcade. I’ve noticed it’s constantly on the forum front page and loads of comments daily.

    Just wondering who here also plays(ed) slay the spire and has thoughts on how these two stack up in terms of enjoyment factor?
