    It is an event-only relic

You'll need the Artificial Stone relic, which will be found in the following event by exploring. The relic is guaranteed to be found every time, btw. 50A78280-D6F4-40DD-AF14-EDA30C62AE48.png

Ahh right, only found that once. Anyway to guarded the even or purely random?

Also interested to hear people’s favorite characters. Thinking about going for the carpenter but want to hear people’s thoughts first

Carpenter is a nice challange, but for me Swordmaster is the safe choice. I only have that two and the Gunner, but i kill the third boss more times with the Swordmaster.

I've gotten to play all the heroes, here are my thoughts:

Shooter - Weak early, dependent on good drafting, passive and 3 ammo cards means he can draft more 3 ammo cost cards and actually play them, which synergizes with issue order.

Swordsman - Easy to draft, very forgiving, upgraded misdirection is super strong and can heal for lots with berserkergang.

Explorer - Comes with one of three scrolls:
Power: best scroll, permanent +2 damage buff makes for a very strong early game
Healing: I haven't used this yet because healing is not that rare and it only heals 5 hp at the beginning
Rage: rage for 3 turns I think, bad because enemy can just weaken you, and now you're basically fighting with no scroll
His basic deck feels really nice because you are able to sketch what you need. Very versatile due to having 4 reward options and sketch.

Curse captain: Weak early game; starts with 2 ammo but full rotation costs 4 ammo. Some curses are still bad (wetness and drown). Weak draft because curses and cards that generate curses are relatively rare. 3 curse passive (reload if curse is discarded) and 7 curse passive (deal 5 damage per curse in hand if didn't use attack card) are strong making for good late game if he has at least 7 curses.

Alchemist - Has a card that fuses two other cards into a random card (I think there is a categorical system behind this). After fusing, you get +2 damage for the turn and get catalyst card that reloads and draws one card. I don't have much experience, but from what I've tried, normal early, strong late if deck size is small. Can experiment with catalyst strategies and if you get axe, you can loop catalysts until the enemy dies.

Admiral - Not much experience either, but I think his gold specific cards scale with every 100 gold. Weak early.

Carpenter - Very strong with multi hit cards. Passive gives a stack of focus per hit and each stack of focus gives +1 damage. Normalish early, strong late game because focus and multi hit just do lots of damage for very little ammo. No overload achievement is very difficult.

I enjoy explorer and shooter, and hope that rage/health scroll gets buffed so that it applies every few turns so that it can actually compete with power scroll. +2 damage off the bat is just really insane.

    Cave with circular indent
You can still do the event without the amulet relic. If you choose ignore and enter cave anyways, you get the plague curse that makes you lose all ammo when drawn then get to choose to keep going, and you'll get four random card upgrades. I think it's very worth, especially if you are able to get to a tavern quickly.

So is the reward the same with our without the amulet (sans the c***e you get)?

Also thanks for the breakdown... very helpful. Sounds like I should work towards explorer and swordsman, then Carpenter

Hey Fabled - Game Producer, is there a certain place where I should report any bugs that i come across, or should I just post them here?

So is the reward the same with or without the item though? Minus the curse

Would anyone mind making a post that compiles all the purposes of the relics they’ve found that don’t have a purpose description? Like I found this skeleton arm but died before I could seemingly find the necessary event

I might try that later; the skeleton arm is
something you can give to a sad skeleton for about 300 extra gold coins. I think this event is pretty rare and doesn't always occur in order.

Relics related to quests, or without stat boosts
Golden cup - sells for high value, not quest related I think
    Old key -
opens a treasure chest, that grants you the crown relic, which increases hand size by one.
    Arm is described above
    Amulet -
Let's you trade the relic so you don't get cursed when entering the cave for four upgrades.
    Beastfang necklace -
If you come across the event that lets you choose to help the hunter, or hunt the animal and you choose to help the hunter, a later event may occur in which the hunter gives you this relic.

As far as I can tell, the other relics are not quest related.

Just found something that I thought people might be interested in. The Rum relic (+5 max health) which I had never bothered to buy before, actually sells for more money than any relic that I can think of at $150. It also only costs $50 in the market, as opposed to the normal $100. I thought this was a really nice touch to the game, as it makes you want to use more relics and cards to try and find anything really unique about them. Now the Rum is definitely a relic I'll be buying more often.

For me it was quite obvious that the Rum relic would be a relic to sell, discovered it the first time i saw....(i thought that or it would sell for a good money or it would trigger a event...that different price(50c) was suspicious)....but i also thought that the bread would a have a interaction with the hungry woman event...so don't mind me, also speaking about the hungry woman, once after i helped her and it triggered the event that she cures you for money... she could cure me +999 health for free or add health(i don't remember the amount), i had got the holy water in the same run, so maybe it was its side effect ....maybe it also affects all the cures in game(i never went to a tavern in a game i got the holy water)
Edit: the 999 heal was a different event, it was not related to the holy water....got it now in a run that i didn't got holy water

This game is brutal man...Right when I had a perfect gunner setup (upgraded almost every card, barrage, +1 range due to banana clip, clover to revive if die) I sink due to low AP.

This game is mean and I LOVE it. The option to leave early instead of just having you play until you die. Forcing you to pick a card every battle. Needing not only gold but also repute. True hardcore game.

I also had a almost perfect swordman(everything upgraded except ammo) setup, lost cause the third boss was the 2 brothers, and i didn't draw the lifesteal skill
