So i just got this game. Did a few runs and unlocked some new cards. Question: Can i change my starting deck or am I stuck with what is given for each character?
No your starting deck is static. I do wish they give you option to modify that, maybe spend gold to buy a certain amount of cards to add to a deck after beating the game. There was some talk about deck building mode in future updates, not sure if it will be included in Thursday’s update *ooh jungle update just hit iOS!
The burst potential of this carpenter dude is off the chain. I had to hold back as I was going for the no overload achievement. But with flurry attack and chain shot, each attack increase the focus by one. With some card draw card (quick shot, -5 hp cards) and mark. I almost finished a boss in the opening round. Those flurry attack quickly went up to 10-20 damage per hit.
I’m still grasping on his mechanics, is he intended to be used mainly with bursts attacks? Like those x multiple hits? I figured that I had to constantly watch his focus stacks. Else I’ll end up skipping the attack for one turn. The meditate card is removed after one use even upgraded. Hmmmm
If you get the new cards "Piranha" and "Avalanche", don't upgrade them. The upgraded one will make you take 10 damage no matter if you have it in hand or not.
I got a upgraded “Piranha” just before I encountered the third boss of chapter 1, that bug almost ruined my whole run. BTW is that only me or anyone notice that it becomes harder to target enemies when dragging a card on them? sometimes I can’t even choose the target or choosing the wrong one.
Yeah, we have noticed this. We will update it as soon as we can. Sorry... For now as you mention it before, DO NOT UPGRADE "Piranha" and "Avalanche" cards.
You can probably use him with a lot of bleed skill cards to manage focus mechanics. I’ll play with him more in different zones to see if the burst/assassinate key enemies and take the overload is viable. Quick question, how do you get the 2 new cards? Is it just random drops from playing? If so what zone can you get them from. *nvm just got one from an event chest
I need to remember that upgrading on iOS cancels your current run Excited for the new content, though!
Focus and Overlord are not "common" keywords. They are only used for Carpenter ability, its seems unnecessary to add them in glossary. You can check their descriptions directly by tapping on Icons in battle. Version V1.12 is up and we have fixed "Piranha" and "Avalanche" cards and other bugs/problems.
