To a point, after having 7 curses you start to do 5 damage per curse in your hand to each enemy. Ideally I’d have the expand hand size relic. On the other hand, the damage cards are boosted to 30+ at this point, things gets pretty ridiculous
Can someone pls enlighten me on these treasure chest enemies? After killing them while in chest form, they spawn a ghost with attack power which replenishes their hp to full, why would I waste my resources on these chest if I had to deal with them again?
Because you may want to wake up one to better sequence the fight. Killing one before the other two woke up would make the fight easier.
Here are some interactions you might find useful to grind the game: Conch + Flower Corpse: never worry again about your armor Purse + Payment in blood: best with Sword Master, grind coins Gamble works really well with the Cursed Captain Healing spells damage the undeads 2x Drown with the Cursed Captain is insanely strong. The damage output is really good (21 damage when upgraded) and would fill your deck with curses (so you could remove all other curses to deck more life and the achievement)
Alright. I was hoping I could destroy them before they wake up. Just like the pile of bones on map 2.
There are certain relics that really take the game from being difficult to easy. I'd say conch and amulet that adds armor for each enemy in the battle. Combine that throw shield and things get crazy. Of course if you also get flower corpse you have so much shield you never have to worry unless you have injury stacking fights. I still love a rage build where you get the pirate flag. It feels fun to be chunking out massive damage. The other one involves using the collector hero with mirror image. Load up on upgraded consumables and just blow them up with the copied version.
Does anyone feel there are balance issues on the Souls Rift map? Especially when fighting the enemy that stacks curses that go through shields. They have 60HP and are often at the very back so hard to get access to depending on who you play. Melee heroes are very much at a disadvantage and even with curse removal it is still a very difficult fight.
I originally only paid the .99c entry fee. Had so much fun unlocking new heroes, unlocking new cards and relics I decided to buy the admiral just to support the developers. Sure, there is the 2x boost for 3 bucks, but imo you really don’t need it. I personally unlocked everything in less than a month without it and it did not feel like a grind.
Shooter can try to draft for an infinite shooting build; One ammo reducing card, one mark mark card, one returning card Example: Figurehead or Firearms Mastery, Bloody Mark or *No Escape, Seeking Shot
Holy holy moly, only 1 achievement left??? Wow. Impressive! Agreed. I think even with the new map or mode coming, if it’s reasonable, I might just pay real $ just to support the devs since I’m getting so much enjoyment out of it. Different stroke for different folks. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion in how they see value in a game.
The upcoming patch suppose to have a feature to keep track of our stats. Probably including number of enemies killed. Hmmm. Can’t come soon enough
So I tried many times to get this infinite combo, Seeking Shot + Firearms/Figurehead + No Escape/Bloody Mark But I think I am just unlucky, I could get 2 of 3 cards most of time, but I find another combo could work as well. Here is an alternative version if you can't get Seeking Shot, Puffer Fish + Firearms/Figurehead + No Escape/Bloody Mark + Rose (Important relic so you won't kill yourself)
So the new update says that it includes the Maelstrom map update. From what I can tell, this update adds maelstroms to the map, and changes the end of game stats.
Does anyone know what the legendary recipe choice from the chef results in? I always try to ask for more info, but I never get the followup event. Is there a reward for finding the secret recipe?
