Nah...the people at the top of the arena chart are crazy So I'm only doing this cuz it was a holiday in Canada so I had some extra time . This is the new setup I tried for the crusade today. I lost in the final battle My leadoff hitter. This is my weakest of the 6 but it usually gets through the first few levels of the crusade for me fine. Andy protects the weapons or Charlotte protects the nose, depending on the situation. Betty's grenade is to finish off enemies efficiently. The one with a lot of potential but sucks right now. I have a machine gun but I'm gonna swap that out for a golden/thunder mortar once I level one up good. Smoothie speeds up the Mecha cannon. If I can save up enough fuel, I combine Kina with King for a big attack. My heavy hitter. Sam & Rapido's passives add attack & defence to the mortars & I can either use Rufus to clear out enemy weapons before the mortars hit or just speed up the mortars with Rapido. This was my MVP today cuz it took out a few enemies in the crusade pretty quickly. My Pirate takedown specialist. The lightning cannons are great. Furioso's Whirlwind & Wheep's passive protect the front mortar. If I'm lucky, I can combine Wheep & Adele for a super strong attack. Furioso also gives a cheap dash attack. My favourite. Robin Hood doubles crossbow attacks while Noko repairs the crossbows when they're down. Wulf's passive slows down enemy weapon recovery just a tad allowing the crossbows to do hit a bit more. This set-up can beat all 8 levels of the Alda event. Usually my bread and butter but it's turning into my overpaid star. I use this for levels 6-8 of the daily events. Focuses on defence so the cannons can do their job. Mainly use Rolexo for his Slow Motion & Ash's Dark Strike to get rid of enemy mines. Blake's Turning shield is for last minute protection but it's rarely called upon. I also fused the Precision Gun with 2 Galleon cannons I got from the special chests so now the Tri Shot ability does about 540 damage. I'm rather disappointed in this boat right now cuz its only battle in today's Crusade was the last boat and it lost rather easily to a level 4300 Dandolo...AND it lost to a level 3700 Navarre with 2 crossbows in the Arena... Would love to see other people's setups
wow thats a really good idea (having the images). does that nose on the pirate ship, the sharp one, does it do anything extra? like 10% extra attack or something or is it just a default? not sure if i should invest in making one of them. How long have you been playing for? ive been playing for roughly 2 weeks non stop and im no where near thaat level. Am i doing something wrong? Also, i dont quite get how the crusade works, i entered with two boats roughly 2400 each and managed to finish it quite easily with one boat not even being used, yet now that im entering with 3 boats at 2600 level i die at the last or second to last battle.
I have the same issue. I upgrade to iOS 9.3 this week, but the problem appeared before I upgraded. I am getting gifts, but no pearls, and friends are not visible in the tavern. Yesterday I pared down my friends list from 63 to 34, but the problem remains. One time I launched the game and was able to get two pearls and see my friends, but the problem came back afterwards.
New boat part cost balancing New boat part cost balancing, In an effort of reducing the grinding, we have tweaked the cost of the boat parts. Here are the few changes which are already live: - Removed most of the wood navarre needed in evolving the pirate boat parts, and increased the pirate wood needed to compensate for that loss. This is to reduce the dependency of several families on the same resource. - The navarre and dandolo boat parts have seen a slight decrease in the number of woods needed for the different upgrades. Ex Navarre Hulls 5-Stars require 500 Wood Pirate and 400 Wood Navarre instead of 600 and 500 respectively. - We also made the cost more consistent between the different boat parts For a future update: We are also working on some new features which will allow you to get more resources and be able to craft the different woods including the fusion gems. This will be a new building where you could send your heroes to different missions and collect some wood every x hours. SUPER HAPPY to see that you guys have worked on the grinding issues! I had a look and from what I can tell, it's just a slight fix, but it's better. ive been trying to gather the dandolo red woods for a part the past two days and I noticed it's now asking for 10 less woods, from 160 to 150, so not a huge difference, but still happy. I'm actually more excited for the other things moleki mentioned, the missions for the heroes, and crafting more resources, just like Happy Street, because it'll add more interactivity to the game. it started out as very 2-dimensional in terms of things to do. on a different note, does anyone actually buy items from the green yoda guy? I recently considered buying medals for adele and smoothie because you can't get them elsewhere, but it seems really expensive to upgrade them. Both Adele and Smoothie medals are 1900 coins for one, and it takes 40 medals to upgrade either of them... so that's 76,000 coins just to upgrade one of them..(unless you get the blessing for cheaper deals, but still).
I buy from Mr. Wing constantly. I buy all wood (pirate, dandolo, and Navarre) and medals for characters that I can't get elsewhere. I've also bought a couple of octowood and doggy wood to upgrade my special weapons.
It's not really a cap but it's so much work for our server to process, they usually time out by the time they reach 100 friends. I reduced the max amount of friends to be processed to 50 so they don't timeout, but we will have to try optimize the servers even more
The Wood nose (the sharp brown one) doesn't do any extra damage as far as I know. It'd make sense if it damaged monsters & Dandolos who melee it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. The Knife nose (the grey one) has more life & covers the weapons better but costs more resources overall. I only got the Wood nose cuz I wanted a different look. Been playing for 76 straight days...so 7 weeks...yea..that's waay too long to be playing an ipad game...But I'm sure you're doing fine and will catch up in no time. Not sure exactly how the crusade works either but I think the last few boats scale up in level depending on your strongest ship? Awesome to hear about the grind being addressed. Not sure if it'll change people's feelings about "the grind" but at least it's something
Arena points bug I would like to raise up an issue that I encountered during my arena match. The 'real' amount earned at the end of the match doesn't tally with the amount that I am supposed to get. To elaborate, there were 'many' times when I press fight at arena, it will show the amount of points you will get in the following screen (top middle), for e.g. 325. However, after I won that particular match, I was only given 180 points. Seriously ? I am quite sure this is a bug and it keeps happening and it's quite frustrating :/ sorry for the rant. I hope the support team will look onto this matter. I compete for top 30-50 and this affect my score greatly.
This has been fixed but it will be available in the next update, which we will submit today or tomorrow.
is it possible to save progression? what if i want to restart but end up regretting, can i get my account reverted back to where it was at the last save check point? If you can transfer accounts and their progress from android to apple vice versa, surely my request is possible...
